1 A doua parte a revenit lui Simeon, adică seminţiei urmaşilor lui Simeon, potrivit clanurilor lor, moştenirea acestora fiind pe teritoriul urmaşilor lui Iuda.

And the second lot came forth to Simeon, for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families; and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.

2 M oştenirea lor cuprindea: Beer-Şeba, Şeba, Molada,

And they had in their inheritance Beer-sheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,

3 H aţar-Şual, Bala, Eţem,

and Hazar-Shual, and Balah, and Ezem,

4 E ltolad, Betul, Horma,

and Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,

5 Ţ iklag, Bet-Marcabot, Haţar-Susa,

and Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,

6 B et-Lebaot şi Şaruhen – treisprezece cetăţi cu satele dimprejurul lor.

and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities and their hamlets;

7 A yin, Rimon, Eter şi Aşan – patru cetăţi cu satele dimprejur,

Ain, Rimmon, and Ether, and Ashan: four cities and their hamlets;

8 p recum şi toate satele din jurul acestor cetăţi până la Baalat-Beer sau Ramat-Neghev. Aceasta era moştenirea seminţiei urmaşilor lui Simeon, potrivit clanurilor lor.

and all the hamlets that are round these cities to Baalath-beer, Ramah of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

9 M oştenirea simeoniţilor a fost luată din teritoriul urmaşilor lui Iuda, pentru că teritoriul urmaşilor lui Iuda era prea mare pentru ei. Aşadar, urmaşii lui Simeon şi-au primit moştenirea pe teritoriul urmaşilor lui Iuda. Teritoriul moştenit de Zabulon

Out of the lot of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too great for them, and the children of Simeon inherited within their inheritance.

10 A treia parte a revenit urmaşilor lui Zabulon, potrivit clanurilor lor. Hotarul moştenirii lor se întindea până la Sarid,

And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. And the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid;

11 m ergea spre apus către Marala, atingând Dabeşet şi uedul care este în faţa Iokneamului.

and their border went up westwards, and Marealah, and reached to Dabbesheth, and reached to the torrent that is before Jokneam;

12 D in Sarid se întorcea spre răsărit, spre răsăritul soarelui, până la hotarul Chislot-Taborului, ieşind la Dabrat şi urcând spre Iafia.

and turned from Sarid eastward, toward the sun-rising, to the border of Chisloth-Tabor, and went out to Dabrath, and went up to Japhia;

13 D e aici, traversa spre răsărit către Gat-Hefer şi Et-Kaţin, ieşea la Rimon şi se întorcea către Nea,

and from thence it passed eastward toward the sun-rising to Gath-Hepher, to Eth-kazin, and went out to Rimmon which reaches to Neah;

14 d upă care se întorcea spre nord, către Hanaton, mergând apoi până la valea Iftahel.

and the border turned round it northwards to Hannathon: and ended in the valley of Jiphthah-el; …

15 C uprindea douăsprezece cetăţi cu satele dimprejur, printre care erau: Katat, Nahalal, Şimron, Idala şi Betleem.

and Kattath, and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Jidalah, and Beth-lehem: twelve cities and their hamlets.

16 A ceasta era moştenirea urmaşilor lui Zabulon, potrivit clanurilor lor şi acestea erau cetăţile lor cu satele dimprejur. Teritoriul moştenit de Isahar

This was the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.

17 A patra parte a revenit urmaşilor lui Isahar, potrivit clanurilor lor.

The fourth lot came forth to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.

18 T eritoriul lor cuprindea: Izreel, Chesulot, Şunem,

And their territory was toward Jizreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

19 H afarayim, Şion, Anaharat,

and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,

20 R abit, Chişion, Ebeţ,

and Rabbith, and Kishion, and Ebez,

21 R emet, En-Ganim, En-Hada şi Bet-Paţeţ.

and Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;

22 H otarul atingea apoi Taborul, Şahaţuma şi Bet-Şemeş, ieşind la Iordan. În total erau şaisprezece cetăţi cu satele dimprejurul lor.

and the border reached to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities and their hamlets.

23 A ceasta era moştenirea seminţiei urmaşilor lui Isahar, potrivit clanurilor lor, ţinând cont de cetăţile şi satele dimprejurul acestora. Teritoriul moştenit de Aşer

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.

24 A cincea parte a revenit seminţiei urmaşilor lui Aşer, potrivit clanurilor lor.

And the fifth lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.

25 T eritoriul lor trecea prin Helkat, Hali, Beten, Acşaf,

And their territory was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Acshaph,

26 A la-Melek, Amad şi Mişal. La apus atingea Carmelul şi Şihor-Libnatul,

and Allammelech, and Amead, and Mishal; and reached to Carmel westwards, and to Shihor-libnath,

27 i ar la răsărit se întorcea către Bet-Dagon, atingea Zabulon şi valea Iftahel la nord de Bet-Emek şi Neiel, ieşind în stânga, spre Cabul,

and turned towards the sun-rising to Beth-Dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthah-el northward Beth-emek and Neiel, and went out to Cabul on the left,

28 A bdon, Rehob, Hamon şi Kana, până la Sidonul cel Mare.

and Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, as far as great Zidon;

29 S e întorcea apoi către Rama până la fortăreaţa Tirului şi către Hosa, după care atingea ţărmul mării în regiunea Aczib.

and the border turned to Ramah, and as far as the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah; and ended at the sea by the tract of country of Achzib;

30 M ai cuprindea şi Uma, Afek şi Rehob – în total douăzeci şi două de cetăţi cu satele dimprejurul lor.

and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities and their hamlets.

31 C etăţile acestea împreună cu satele dimprejurul lor erau moştenirea seminţiei urmaşilor lui Aşer, potrivit clanurilor lor. Teritoriul moştenit de Neftali

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.

32 A şasea parte a revenit urmaşilor lui Neftali, potrivit clanurilor lor.

The sixth lot came forth to the children of Naphtali, for the children of Naphtali according to their families.

33 H otarul lor pornea de la Helef şi de la stejarul din Ţaananim, trecea pe la Adami-Necheb şi Iabneel până la Lakum şi ieşea la Iordan,

And their border was from Heleph, from the oak of Zaanannim; and Adami-nekeb and Jabneel to Lakkum; and ended at the Jordan;

34 d upă care se întorcea spre apus prin Aznot-Tabor. De aici continua către Hukok, atingea teritoriul lui Zabulon în sud, pe cel al lui Aşer la apus, iar Iordanul la răsărit.

and the border turned westwards to Aznoth-Tabor, and went out from thence to Hukkok, and reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah upon Jordan towards the sun-rising.

35 C etăţile fortificate erau: Ţidim, Ţer, Hamat, Rakat, Chineret,

And the fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,

36 A dama, Rama, Haţor,

and Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,

37 K edeş, Edrei, En-Haţor,

and Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-Hazor,

38 I ron, Migdal-El, Horem, Bet-Anat şi Bet-Şemeş – nouăsprezece cetăţi cu satele dimprejurul lor.

and Jiron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities and their hamlets.

39 C etăţile acestea împreună cu satele dimprejurul lor erau moştenirea seminţiei urmaşilor lui Neftali, potrivit clanurilor lor. Teritoriul moştenit de Dan

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.

40 A şaptea parte a revenit seminţiei urmaşilor lui Dan, potrivit clanurilor lor.

The seventh lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.

41 H otarul moştenirii lor cuprindea: Ţora, Eştaol, Ir-Şemeş,

And the territory of their inheritance was Zoreah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,

42 Ş aalabin, Aialon, Itla,

and Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jithlah,

43 E lon, Timnata, Ekron,

and Elon, and Timnathah, and Ekron,

44 E lteche, Ghibeton, Baalat,

and El-tekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

45 I ehud, Bene-Berak, Gat-Rimon,

and Jehud, and Beneberak, and Gath-Rimmon,

46 M e-Iarkon şi Rakon la hotarul cu Iafo.

and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over against Japho.

47 Î nsă daniţii n-au reuşit să intre în posesia teritoriului lor, astfel că au pornit să lupte împotriva Leşemului: au atacat cetatea, au capturat-o, au trecut-o prin ascuţişul sabiei şi au ocupat-o. S-au stabilit în cetate şi au numit-o Dan, după numele strămoşului lor, Dan.

And the border of the children of Dan ended with these; and the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession of it, and dwelt in it, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

48 C etăţile acestea împreună cu satele dimprejurul lor erau moştenirea seminţiei urmaşilor lui Dan, potrivit clanurilor lor. Teritoriul dat spre moştenire lui Iosua

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.

49 D upă ce au încheiat de împărţit ţara, potrivit hotarelor stabilite, israeliţii i-au dat şi lui Iosua, fiul lui Nun, o moştenire printre ei,

And they ended dividing the land for inheritance according to its borders. And the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them.

50 a şa cum poruncise Domnul. I-au dat cetatea pe care el o cerea, adică Timnat-Serah, în regiunea muntoasă a lui Efraim. Iosua a zidit cetatea din nou şi a locuit în ea.

According to the word of Jehovah they gave him the city that he asked, Timnath-serah in the hill-country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and dwelt in it.

51 A cestea sunt teritoriile pe care preotul Elazar, Iosua, fiul lui Nun, şi căpeteniile clanurilor din seminţiile lui Israel le-au dat ca moştenire, prin tragere la sorţi, la Şilo, în prezenţa Domnului, la intrarea Cortului Întâlnirii. Şi astfel ei au încheiat împărţirea ţării.

These were the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed by lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And they ended dividing the land.
