1 D omnul i-a zis lui Moise:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

2 „ Spune-le israeliţilor să-Mi aducă o contribuţie; s-o primiţi pentru Mine de la fiecare om care o va da cu dragă inimă.

Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me a heave-offering: of every one whose heart prompteth him, ye shall take my heave-offering.

3 A ceasta este contribuţia pe care va trebui să o primeşti de la ei: aur, argint, bronz,

And this is the heave-offering that ye shall take of them: gold, and silver, and copper,

4 f ire de culoare albastră, purpurie şi cărămizie, fir de in subţire, păr de capră,

and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and byssus, and goats',

5 p iei de berbeci, vopsite în roşu, piei de viţel de mare, lemn de salcâm,

and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins; and acacia-wood;

6 u lei pentru luminat, mirodenii pentru untdelemnul folosit la ungere şi pentru tămâia mirositoare,

oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil, and for the incense of fragrant drugs;

7 p ietre de onix şi pietre pentru efod şi pieptar.

onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.

8 S ă-Mi facă un Lăcaş şi Eu voi locui în mijlocul lor.

And they shall make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.

9 S ă faceţi Tabernaculul şi toate obiectele lui după modelul pe care ţi-l voi arăta. Instrucţiuni privind Chivotul

According to all that I shall shew thee, the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the utensils thereof, even so shall ye make.

10 S ă facă un chivot din lemn de salcâm; acesta să aibă lungimea de doi coţi şi jumătate, iar lăţimea şi înălţimea de un cot şi jumătate.

And they shall make an ark of acacia-wood; two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

11 S ă-l poleieşti cu aur curat pe dinăuntru şi pe dinafară şi să-i faci un chenar de aur de jur împrejur.

And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold: inside and outside shalt thou overlay it; and shalt make upon it a border of gold round about.

12 S ă torni patru inele de aur pentru el şi să le fixezi la cele patru colţuri ale sale, două inele de o parte şi două inele de cealaltă parte.

And cast four rings of gold for it, and put at the four corners thereof, that two rings may be upon the one side thereof and two rings upon the other side thereof.

13 S ă faci nişte drugi din lemn de salcâm şi să-i poleieşti cu aur.

And make staves of acacia-wood and overlay them with gold.

14 S ă introduci drugii prin inelele de pe cele două părţi ale Chivotului pentru ca acesta să poată fi dus cu ajutorul lor.

And put the staves into the rings upon the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.

15 D rugii să rămână în inelele Chivotului şi să nu fie scoşi din ele.

The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not come out from it.

16 S ă pui în Chivot Mărturia pe care ţi-o voi da.

And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony that I shall give thee.

17 A poi să faci un capac al ispăşirii din aur curat, lung de doi coţi şi jumătate şi lat de un cot şi jumătate.

And thou shalt make a mercy-seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

18 S ă faci şi doi heruvimi din aur bătut, la cele două capete ale Capacului Ispăşirii.

And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold; beaten work shalt thou make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat.

19 S ă faci un heruvim la un capăt şi un heruvim la celălalt capăt. Să-i faci, la cele două capete ale Capacului Ispăşirii, dintr-o singură bucată cu el.

And make one cherub at the end of the one side, and one cherub at the end of the other side; out of the mercy-seat shall ye make the cherubim at the two ends thereof.

20 H eruvimii să fie cu aripile întinse deasupra, umbrind astfel Capacul Ispăşirii cu aripile lor. Ei să stea faţă în faţă; feţele heruvimilor să fie întoarse înspre Capacul Ispăşirii.

And the cherubim shall stretch out wings over it, covering over with their wings the mercy-seat, and their faces opposite to one another: toward the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.

21 S ă pui Capacul Ispăşirii deasupra Chivotului, iar în Chivot să pui Mărturia pe care ţi-o voi da.

And thou shalt put the mercy-seat above on the ark, and shalt put in the ark the testimony that I shall give thee.

22 A colo, deasupra Capacului Ispăşirii, între cei doi heruvimi care sunt pe Chivotul Mărturiei, mă voi întâlni cu tine şi îţi voi da toate poruncile pentru israeliţi. Instrucţiuni privind masa pentru pâinea prezentării

And there will I meet with thee, and will speak with thee from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, everything that I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

23 S ă faci o masă din lemn de salcâm, lungă de doi coţi, lată de un cot şi înaltă de un cot şi jumătate.

And thou shalt make a table of acacia-wood, two cubits the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

24 S ă o poleieşti cu aur curat şi să-i faci un chenar de aur de jur împrejur.

And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make upon it a border of gold round about.

25 S ă-i faci împrejur un pervaz cu lăţimea de o palmă şi un chenar de aur de jur împrejurul pervazului.

And thou shalt make for it a margin of a handbreadth round about, and shalt make a border of gold for the margin thereof round about.

26 S ă-i faci mesei patru inele de aur şi să le fixezi în cele patru colţuri, în dreptul celor patru picioare ale ei.

And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings at the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.

27 I nelele care ţin drugii folosiţi la ducerea mesei să se afle în apropierea pervazului.

Close to the margin shall the rings be, as receptacles of the staves to carry the table.

28 S ă faci drugii pentru ducerea mesei din lemn de salcâm şi să-i poleieşti cu aur.

And thou shalt make the staves of acacia-wood, and overlay them with gold; and the table shall be carried upon them.

29 S ă-i faci farfurii şi vase pentru tămâie, ulcioare şi boluri cu care să torni jertfele de băutură; să le faci din aur curat.

And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and cups thereof, and goblets thereof, and bowls thereof, with which to pour out: of pure gold shalt thou make them.

30 S ă pui pe masă pâinea prezentării, ca să fie continuu înaintea Mea. Instrucţiuni privind sfeşnicul

And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me continually.

31 A poi să faci un sfeşnic din aur curat. Piciorul şi arborele să fie din aur bătut. Cupele, bobocii şi petalele să fie dintr-o singură bucată cu el.

And thou shalt make a lamp-stand of pure gold; beaten work shall the lamp-stand be made: its base and its shaft, its cups, its knobs, and its flowers shall be of the same.

32 D in laturile lui să iasă şase ramuri, trei ramuri ale sfeşnicului într-o parte şi trei ramuri ale sfeşnicului în cealaltă parte.

And six branches shall come out of the sides thereof—three branches of the lamp-stand out of one side thereof, and three branches of the lamp-stand out of the other side thereof;

33 S ă fie făcute trei cupe în formă de floare de migdal, fiecare cu boboc şi petale pe o ramură, şi trei cupe în formă de floare de migdal, fiecare cu boboc şi petale pe o altă ramură; aşa vor trebui făcute toate cele şase ramuri care ies din sfeşnic.

three cups shaped like almonds in the one branch, a knob and a flower: and three cups shaped like almonds in the other branch, a knob and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the lamp-stand.

34 P e sfeşnic să fie patru cupe făcute în formă de floare de migdal cu boboci şi petale.

And in the lamp-stand four cups shaped like almonds, its knobs and its flowers;

35 S ub fiecare pereche de ramuri dintre cele şase care ies din sfeşnic să fie câte un boboc.

and a knob under two branches of it, and a knob under two branches of it, and a knob under two branches of it, for the six branches that proceed out of the lamp-stand.

36 B obocii şi ramurile să fie dintr-o singură bucată cu sfeşnicul; totul să fie din aur bătut, din aur curat.

Their knobs and their branches shall be of itself—all of one beaten work of pure gold.

37 S ă faci şapte candele pentru sfeşnic; ele să fie fixate deasupra, în aşa fel încât să lumineze în faţă.

And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof, and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may shine out before it;

38 M ucarniţele şi tăviţele să fie din aur curat.

and the snuffers thereof, and the snuff-trays thereof, of pure gold.

39 S feşnicul cu toate uneltele lui să fie făcute dintr-un talant de aur curat.

Of a talent of pure gold shall they make it, with all these utensils.

40 V ezi să faci totul după modelul care ţi-a fost arătat pe munte.

And see that thou make according to their pattern, which hath been shewn to thee in the mountain.
