1 C ântaţi Domnului un cântec nou, căci El a făcut minuni. Mâna lui cea dreaptă şi braţul Lui cel sfânt I-au adus victorie!

Sing ye unto Jehovah a new song: for he hath done wondrous things; his right hand and his holy arm hath wrought salvation for him.

2 D omnul Îşi face cunoscută mântuirea; Îşi descoperă dreptatea înaintea neamurilor.

Jehovah hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the nations.

3 E l Şi-a amintit de îndurarea şi de credincioşia promisă casei lui Israel; toate marginile pământului au văzut mântuirea Dumnezeului nostru.

He hath remembered his loving-kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 S trigaţi către Domnul, toţi locuitorii pământului! Chiuiţi, strigaţi de bucurie, cântaţi!

Shout aloud unto Jehovah, all the earth; break forth and shout for joy, and sing psalms.

5 C ântaţi Domnului cu lira, cu lira şi cu cântece din gură,

Sing psalms unto Jehovah with the harp: with the harp, and the voice of a song;

6 c u trâmbiţe şi cu sunet de corn, strigaţi înaintea Împăratului, a Domnului!

With trumpets and sound of cornet, make a joyful noise before the King, Jehovah.

7 S ă vuiască marea şi tot ce este în ea, lumea şi toţi locuitorii ei!

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein;

8 R âurile să bată din palme, munţii să strige de bucurie cu toţii

Let the floods clap hands; let the mountains sing for joy together,

9 î naintea Domnului, Care vine să judece pământul. El va judeca lumea cu dreptate şi popoarele cu nepărtinire!

Before Jehovah, for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.
