1 H e himene. Waiatatia ki a Ihowa he waiata hou; he mahi whakamiharo hoki ana: na tona ringa matau, na tona ringa tapu, i taea ai e ia te whakaora.
Sing ye unto Jehovah a new song: for he hath done wondrous things; his right hand and his holy arm hath wrought salvation for him.
2 K ua whakakitea e Ihowa tana whakaoranga, kua whakapuakina e ia tona tika ki te aroaro o nga tauiwi.
Jehovah hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the nations.
3 K ua mahara ia ki tana mahi tohu, ki tona pono ki te whare o Iharaira; a kua kite nga pito katoa o te whenua i te whakaoranga a to tatou Atua.
He hath remembered his loving-kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 K ia hari te hamama, e te whenua katoa, ki a Ihowa: hamama, kia hari, ae ra, himene atu.
Shout aloud unto Jehovah, all the earth; break forth and shout for joy, and sing psalms.
5 H imene ki a Ihowa i runga i te hapa; i runga i te hapa, me te himene ano te reo.
Sing psalms unto Jehovah with the harp: with the harp, and the voice of a song;
6 I runga i te tetere, i te tangi ano o te koronete: kia hari te hamama ki te aroaro o Ihowa, o te Kingi.
With trumpets and sound of cornet, make a joyful noise before the King, Jehovah.
7 K ia haruru te moana me nga mea e hua ana i roto, te ao me ona tangata e noho ana i runga.
Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein;
8 K ia papaki nga ringa o nga roma, kia hari tahi nga pukepuke.
Let the floods clap hands; let the mountains sing for joy together,
9 K i te aroaro o Ihowa: e haere mai ana hoki ia ki te whakawa mo te whenua: ka whakawa ia mo te ao i runga i te tika, mo nga iwi hoki i runga i te pono.
Before Jehovah, for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.
