1 I korero ano a Ihowa ki a Mohi, i mea,
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
2 K i te hara tetahi, a ka he tana ki a Ihowa, a ka teka hoki ki tona hoa, he mea i tukua ki a ia kia tiakina, he whakaaetanga ranei, he mea ranei i pahuatia, he whakahaere he ranei ki tona hoa;
If any one sin and act unfaithfully against Jehovah, and lie to his neighbour as to an entrusted thing or a deposit or he hath robbed or wronged his neighbour,
3 I kitea ranei e ia te mea i ngaro, a ka korero teka ki taua mea, ka oati teka; i tetahi ranei o enei tini mea e mea ai te tangata, e whai hara ai:
or have found what was lost, and denieth it, and sweareth falsely in anything of all that man doeth, sinning therein;
4 N a, kua hara nei ia, kua he, me whakahoki e ia te mea i pahuatia, te mea ranei i murua e ia, te mea ranei i waiho ki a ia kia tiakina, te mea ngaro ranei i kitea e ia,
then it shall be, if he hath sinned and transgressed, that he shall restore what he robbed or that in which he hath defrauded, or the deposit, or the lost thing which he found,
5 N ga mea katoa ranei i oati teka ai ia; me utu e ia taua mea kia tino rite, ka tapiri ano ki te wahi whakarima: me homai e ia ki te tangata nona, i te ra e kitea ai kua hara ia.
or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; and he shall restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto; to whom it belongeth shall he give it, on the day of his trespass-offering.
6 A me kawe e ia tana whakahere mo te he ki a Ihowa, he hipi toa, he kohakore no te kahui, kei tau te utu, hei whakahere mo te he, ki te tohunga:
And his trespass-offering shall he bring to Jehovah, a ram without blemish out of the small cattle according to thy valuation, as a trespass-offering, unto the priest.
7 A ma te tohunga e whakamarie mona ki te aroaro o Ihowa: a ka murua te he o tana i nga mea katoa i mea ai ia, i hara ai.
And the priest shall make atonement for him before Jehovah, and it shall be forgiven him concerning anything of all that he hath done so as to trespass therein.
8 I korero ano a Ihowa ki a Mohi, i mea,
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt-offering; this, the burnt-offering, shall be on the hearth on the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it.
10 A me kakahu e te tohunga tona kakahu rinena, me mau ano ona tarau rinena ki tona kiri, ka kohi ai i nga pungarehu i pau tahi me te tahunga tinana i te ahi i runga i te aata, a ka waiho i te tahi o te aata.
And the priest shall put on his linen raiment, and his linen breeches shall he put on his flesh, and take up the ashes to which the fire hath consumed the burnt-offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
11 N a ka whakarere atu ia i ona kakahu, ka kakahu i etahi atu kakahu, a ka mau i nga pungarehu ki waho i te puni, ki te wahi pokekore.
And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.
12 K ia ka tonu ano te ahi o te aata, kei pirau: me whakau ano e te tohunga nga wahie ki runga, i tenei ata, i tenei ata; me ata whakatakoto ano e ia te tahunga tinana ki runga, a me tahu e ia te ngako o nga whakahere mo te pai ki runga.
And the fire upon the altar shall be kept burning on it: it shall not be put out; and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt-offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace-offerings.
13 K ia ka tonu te ahi i runga i te aata; kei pirau.
A continual fire shall be kept burning on the altar: it shall never go out.
And this is the law of the oblation: the sons of Aaron shall present it before Jehovah, before the altar.
And he shall take of it his handful of the fine flour of the oblation, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is on the meat-offering, and shall burn on the altar: a sweet odour of the memorial thereof to Jehovah.
And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: unleavened shall it be eaten in a holy place; in the court of the tent of meeting shall they eat it.
17 E kore e tunua rewenatia. Kua hoatu e ahau taua mea hei wahi ma ratou i roto i aku whakahere ahi. He tino tapu tena, rite tonu ano ki te whakahere hara, ki te whakahere mo te he.
It shall not be baken with leaven. As their portion have I given it of my offerings by fire: it is most holy; as the sin-offering, and as the trespass-offering.
18 H ei kai tena ma nga tane katoa o nga tama a Arona, hei wahi pumau ma ratou puta noa i o koutou whakatupuranga o nga whakahere ahi a Ihowa: ka tapu nga tangata katoa e pa ana ki ena.
All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. an everlasting statute in your generations, of Jehovah's offerings by fire: whatever toucheth these shall be holy.
19 I korero ano a Ihowa ki a Mohi, i mea,
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
20 K o te whakahere tenei ma Arona ratou ko ana tama, ko ta ratou e whakahere ai ki a Ihowa i te ra e whakawahia ai ia; ko te whakatekau epa paraoa hei whakahere totokore, hei mea mau tonu, ko tetahi wahi ona i te ata, ko tetahi wahi i te ahiahi.
This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall present to Jehovah on the day when he is anointed: the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour as a continual oblation, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night.
It shall be prepared in the pan with oil: saturated with oil shalt thou bring it: baken pieces of the oblation shalt thou present a sweet odour to Jehovah.
22 M a te tohunga i whakawahia i roto i ana tama hei whakakapi mona e mahi: he tikanga pumau, me tahu katoa ki a Ihowa.
And the priest who is anointed of his sons in his stead shall prepare it: an everlasting statute; it shall be wholly burned to Jehovah.
23 M e tahu katoa nga whakahere totokore katoa a te tohunga: kaua hei kainga.
And every oblation of the priest shall be wholly burned; it shall not be eaten.
24 I korero ano a Ihowa ki a Mohi, i mea,
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin-offering. At the place where the burnt-offering is slaughtered shall the sin-offering be slaughtered before Jehovah: it is most holy.
The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in a holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tent of meeting.
Everything that toucheth the flesh thereof shall be holy; and if there be splashed of the blood thereof on a garment—that whereon it is sprinkled shalt thou wash in a holy place.
And the earthen vessel wherein it hath been sodden shall be broken; and if it have been sodden in a copper pot, it shall be both scoured and rinsed with water.
29 M a nga tane katoa i roto i nga tohunga e kai; he mea tino tapu.
All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy.
And no sin-offering whereof blood hath been brought to the tent of meeting, to make atonement in the sanctuary, shall be eaten: it shall be burned with fire.
