1 Y habló el Señor a Moisés diciendo:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

2 D i a los hijos de Israel que tomen una ofrenda para mí; de todo aquel cuyo corazón le mueva a hacerlo, tomaréis mi ofrenda.

Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me a heave-offering: of every one whose heart prompteth him, ye shall take my heave-offering.

3 Y esta es la ofrenda que tomaréis de ellos: oro, plata y bronce;

And this is the heave-offering that ye shall take of them: gold, and silver, and copper,

4 t ela azul, púrpura y escarlata, lino fino y pelo de cabra;

and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and byssus, and goats',

5 p ieles de carnero teñidas de rojo, pieles de marsopa y madera de acacia;

and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins; and acacia-wood;

6 a ceite para el alumbrado, especias para el aceite de la unción y para el incienso aromático;

oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil, and for the incense of fragrant drugs;

7 p iedras de ónice y piedras de engaste para el efod y para el pectoral.

onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.

8 Y que hagan un santuario para mí, para que yo habite entre ellos.

And they shall make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.

9 C onforme a todo lo que te voy a mostrar, conforme al diseño del tabernáculo y al diseño de todo su mobiliario, así lo haréis. El arca del testimonio

According to all that I shall shew thee, the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the utensils thereof, even so shall ye make.

10 H arán también un arca de madera de acacia; su longitud será de dos codos y medio, su anchura de un codo y medio, y su altura de un codo y medio.

And they shall make an ark of acacia-wood; two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

11 Y la revestirás de oro puro; por dentro y por fuera la revestirás, y harás una moldura de oro alrededor de ella.

And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold: inside and outside shalt thou overlay it; and shalt make upon it a border of gold round about.

12 A demás fundirás para ella cuatro argollas de oro, y las pondrás en sus cuatro esquinas; dos argollas a un lado de ella y dos argollas al otro lado.

And cast four rings of gold for it, and put at the four corners thereof, that two rings may be upon the one side thereof and two rings upon the other side thereof.

13 T ambién harás varas de madera de acacia y las revestirás de oro.

And make staves of acacia-wood and overlay them with gold.

14 Y meterás las varas por las argollas a los lados del arca, para llevar el arca con ellas.

And put the staves into the rings upon the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.

15 L as varas permanecerán en las argollas del arca; no serán quitadas de ella.

The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not come out from it.

16 Y pondrás en el arca el testimonio que yo te daré.

And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony that I shall give thee.

17 H arás además un propiciatorio de oro puro; su longitud será de dos codos y medio, y su anchura de un codo y medio.

And thou shalt make a mercy-seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

18 H arás igualmente dos querubines de oro; los harás de oro labrado a martillo, en los dos extremos del propiciatorio.

And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold; beaten work shalt thou make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat.

19 H arás un querubín en un extremo y el otro en el otro extremo; harás el propiciatorio con los querubines en sus dos extremos de una sola pieza.

And make one cherub at the end of the one side, and one cherub at the end of the other side; out of the mercy-seat shall ye make the cherubim at the two ends thereof.

20 Y los querubines tendrán extendidas las alas hacia arriba, cubriendo el propiciatorio con sus alas, uno frente al otro; los rostros de los querubines estarán vueltos hacia el propiciatorio.

And the cherubim shall stretch out wings over it, covering over with their wings the mercy-seat, and their faces opposite to one another: toward the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.

21 Y pondrás el propiciatorio encima del arca, y en el arca pondrás el testimonio que yo te daré.

And thou shalt put the mercy-seat above on the ark, and shalt put in the ark the testimony that I shall give thee.

22 A llí me encontraré contigo, y de sobre el propiciatorio, de entre los dos querubines que están sobre el arca del testimonio, te hablaré acerca de todo lo que he de darte por mandamiento para los hijos de Israel. La mesa del pan de la Presencia

And there will I meet with thee, and will speak with thee from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, everything that I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

23 H arás asimismo una mesa de madera de acacia; su longitud será de dos codos, su anchura de un codo y su altura de un codo y medio.

And thou shalt make a table of acacia-wood, two cubits the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

24 Y la revestirás de oro puro y harás una moldura de oro a su alrededor.

And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make upon it a border of gold round about.

25 L e harás también alrededor un borde de un palmo menor de ancho, y harás una moldura de oro alrededor del borde.

And thou shalt make for it a margin of a handbreadth round about, and shalt make a border of gold for the margin thereof round about.

26 Y le harás cuatro argollas de oro, y pondrás argollas en las cuatro esquinas que están sobre sus cuatro patas.

And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings at the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.

27 C erca del borde estarán las argollas para meter las varas a fin de llevar la mesa.

Close to the margin shall the rings be, as receptacles of the staves to carry the table.

28 Y harás las varas de madera de acacia y las revestirás de oro, y con ellas llevarán la mesa.

And thou shalt make the staves of acacia-wood, and overlay them with gold; and the table shall be carried upon them.

29 H arás también sus fuentes, sus vasijas, sus jarros y sus tazones con los cuales se harán las libaciones; de oro puro los harás.

And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and cups thereof, and goblets thereof, and bowls thereof, with which to pour out: of pure gold shalt thou make them.

30 Y pondrás sobre la mesa el pan de la Presencia perpetuamente delante de mí. El candelabro

And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me continually.

31 H arás además un candelabro de oro puro. El candelabro, su base y su caña han de hacerse labrados a martillo; sus copas, sus cálices y sus flores serán de una pieza con él.

And thou shalt make a lamp-stand of pure gold; beaten work shall the lamp-stand be made: its base and its shaft, its cups, its knobs, and its flowers shall be of the same.

32 Y saldrán de sus lados seis brazos; tres brazos del candelabro de uno de sus lados y tres brazos del candelabro del otro lado.

And six branches shall come out of the sides thereof—three branches of the lamp-stand out of one side thereof, and three branches of the lamp-stand out of the other side thereof;

33 H abrá tres copas en forma de flor de almendro en un brazo, con un cáliz y una flor; y tres copas en forma de flor de almendro en el otro brazo, con un cáliz y una flor; así en los seis brazos que salen del candelabro.

three cups shaped like almonds in the one branch, a knob and a flower: and three cups shaped like almonds in the other branch, a knob and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the lamp-stand.

34 Y en la caña del candelabro habrá cuatro copas en forma de flor de almendro, con sus cálices y sus flores.

And in the lamp-stand four cups shaped like almonds, its knobs and its flowers;

35 Y habrá un cáliz debajo de los dos primeros brazos que salen de él, y un cáliz debajo de los dos siguientes brazos que salen de él, y un cáliz debajo de los dos últimos brazos que salen de él; así con los seis brazos que salen del candelabro.

and a knob under two branches of it, and a knob under two branches of it, and a knob under two branches of it, for the six branches that proceed out of the lamp-stand.

36 S us cálices y sus brazos serán de una pieza con él; todo ello será una sola pieza de oro puro labrado a martillo.

Their knobs and their branches shall be of itself—all of one beaten work of pure gold.

37 E ntonces harás sus siete lámparas; sus lámparas serán levantadas de modo que alumbren el espacio frente al candelabro.

And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof, and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may shine out before it;

38 Y sus despabiladeras y sus platillos serán de oro puro.

and the snuffers thereof, and the snuff-trays thereof, of pure gold.

39 E l candelabro, con todos estos utensilios, será hecho de un talento de oro puro.

Of a talent of pure gold shall they make it, with all these utensils.

40 Y mira que los hagas según el diseño que te ha sido mostrado en el monte.

And see that thou make according to their pattern, which hath been shewn to thee in the mountain.
