1 Q ue el Señor te responda en el día de la angustia. Que el nombre del Dios de Jacob te ponga en alto.

Jehovah answer thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob protect thee;

2 Q ue desde el santuario te envíe ayuda, y desde Sion te sostenga.

May he send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

3 Q ue se acuerde de todas tus ofrendas, y halle aceptable tu holocausto. (Selah )

Remember all thine oblations, and accept thy burnt-offering; Selah.

4 Q ue te conceda el deseo de tu corazón, y cumpla todos tus anhelos.

Grant thee according to thy heart, and fulfil all thy counsels.

5 N osotros cantaremos con gozo por tu victoria, y en el nombre de nuestro Dios alzaremos bandera. Que el Señor cumpla todas tus peticiones.

We will triumph in thy salvation, and in the name of our God will we set up our banners. Jehovah fulfil all thy petitions!

6 A hora sé que el Señor salva a su ungido; le responderá desde su santo cielo, con la potencia salvadora de su diestra.

Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; he answereth him from the heavens of his holiness, with the saving strength of his right hand.

7 A lgunos confían en carros, y otros en caballos; mas nosotros en el nombre del Señor nuestro Dios confiaremos.

Some make mention of chariots, and some of horses, but we of the name of Jehovah our God.

8 E llos se doblegaron y cayeron; pero nosotros nos hemos levantado y nos mantenemos en pie.

They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen and stand upright.

9 ¡ Salva, oh Señor! Que el Rey nos responda el día que clamemos.

Save, Jehovah! Let the king answer us in the day we call.
