1 M ay the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high;

Jehovah answer thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob protect thee;

2 S end you help from the sanctuary and support, refresh, and strengthen you from Zion;

May he send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

3 R emember all your offerings and accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah!

4 M ay He grant you according to your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans.
