1 I n that day there shall be a fountain opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem sin and uncleanness.

2 A nd in that day, says the Lord of hosts, I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no more be remembered; and also I will remove from the land the prophets and the unclean spirit.
And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered; and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
3 A nd if anyone again appears as a prophet, then his father and his mother who bore him shall say to him, You shall not live, for you speak lies in the name of the Lord; and his father and his mother who bore him shall thrust him through when he prophesies.
And it shall come to pass, if any shall yet prophesy, that his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of Jehovah; and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
4 A nd in that day the prophets shall each be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies, nor will he wear a hairy or rough garment to deceive,
And it shall come to pass in that day, the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he prophesieth; neither shall they wear a hairy mantle to deceive.
5 B ut he will say, I am no prophet. I am a tiller of the ground, for I have been made a bond servant from my youth.
And he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for man acquired me from my youth.
6 A nd one shall say to him, What are these wounds on your breast or between your hands? Then he will answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
And one shall say unto him, What are those wounds in thy hands? And he will say, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
7 A wake, O sword, against My shepherd and against the man who is My associate, says the Lord of hosts; smite the shepherd and the sheep shall be scattered, and I will turn back My hand and stretch it out again upon the little ones.
Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, even against the man my fellow, saith Jehovah of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered, and I will turn my hand upon the little ones.
8 A nd in all the land, says the Lord, two-thirds shall be cut off and perish, but one-third shall be left alive.
And it shall come to pass in all the land, saith Jehovah, two parts therein shall be cut off die; but the third shall be left therein.
9 A nd I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined and will test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will hear and answer them. I will say, It is My people; and they will say, The Lord is my God.
And I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on my name, and I will answer them: I will say, It is my people; and they shall say, Jehovah is my God.
