1 T hus says the Lord God: The gate of the inner court that faces east shall be shut during the six working days, but on the Sabbath it shall be opened, and also on the day of the New Moon it shall be opened.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working-days; but on the sabbath-day it shall be opened, and on the day of the new moon it shall be opened.

2 A nd the prince shall enter by the porch or vestibule of the gate from without and shall stand by the sidepost of the gate. The priests shall prepare and offer his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate. Then he shall go out, but the gate shall not be shut until evening.

And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of gate from without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall offer his burnt-offering and his peace-offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate, and shall go forth: but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.

3 T he people of the land shall worship at the entrance of that gate before the Lord on the Sabbaths and on the New Moons.

And the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before Jehovah on the sabbaths and on the new moons.

4 A nd the burnt offering that the prince shall offer to the Lord on the Sabbath day shall be six lambs without blemish and a ram without blemish.

And the burnt-offering that the prince shall present unto Jehovah on the sabbath-day shall be six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish.

5 A nd the bloodless or meal offering with the ram shall be an ephah, and the meal offering with the lambs shall be as much as he is able and willing to give, and a hin of oil with each ephah.

And the oblation shall be an ephah for a ram, and the oblation for the lambs as he shall be able to give; and oil, a hin for an ephah.

6 A nd on the day of the New Moon the offering shall be a young bull without blemish and six lambs and a ram without blemish.

And on the day of the new moon, a young bullock without blemish, and six lambs, and a ram: they shall be without blemish.

7 A nd the prince shall provide and make a meal or bloodless offering, an ephah for the bullock and an ephah for the ram, and for the lambs as he is able and willing according to what has been made available to his hand, and a hin of oil to each ephah.

And he shall offer an oblation, an ephah for the bullock, and an ephah for the ram, and for the lambs according to what his hand may attain unto; and oil, a hin for an ephah.

8 A nd when the prince shall enter, he shall go in by the porch or vestibule of that gate and he shall go out by way of it.

And when the prince cometh in, he shall come in by the way of the porch of the gate, and he shall go out by the way thereof.

9 B ut when the people of the land shall come before the Lord at the appointed solemn feasts, he who enters the north gate to worship shall go out by the south gate, and he who enters by the south gate shall go out by the north gate; he shall not return by the gate by which he came in but shall go out by the opposite gate.

And when the people of the land come in before Jehovah in the set feasts, he that cometh in by the way of the north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he that cometh in by the way of the south gate shall go out by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate by which he came in, but shall go out straight before him.

10 A nd the prince, when they go in, shall go in with them, and when they go out, he shall go out.

And the prince shall come in in the midst of them, when they come in; and when they go out, they shall go out.

11 A nd in the appointed and solemn feasts the meal or bloodless offering shall be with a bullock an ephah, and with a ram an ephah, and with the lambs as much as the prince is willing and able to give, and a hin of oil with each ephah.

And on the feast-days, and in the solemnities, the oblation shall be an ephah for a bullock and an ephah for a ram, and for the lambs as he is able to give; and oil, a hin for an ephah.

12 W hen the prince shall prepare and make a freewill burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily to the Lord, the gate that faces east shall be opened for him, and he shall offer his burnt offering and his peace offerings as he does on the Sabbath day. Then he shall go out, and after he has gone out, the gate shall be shut.

And when the prince shall offer a voluntary burnt-offering or voluntary peace-offerings unto Jehovah, the gate that looketh toward the east shall be opened for him and he shall offer his burnt-offering and his peace-offerings as he did on the sabbath-day, and he shall go out again, and the gate shall be shut after he hath gone out.

13 A nd a lamb a year old without blemish shall you offer daily to the Lord; you shall prepare and offer it every morning.

And thou shalt daily offer a burnt-offering unto Jehovah, of a yearling-lamb without blemish: thou shalt prepare it morning by morning.

14 A nd you shall prepare a meal offering to go with it every morning, one-sixth of an ephah with one-third of a hin of oil to moisten the fine flour. This is a perpetual ordinance for a continual meal offering to the Lord.

And thou shalt prepare an oblation with it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and of oil the third part of a hin, to moisten the fine flour: an oblation unto Jehovah continually by a perpetual ordinance.

15 T hus shall they prepare and offer the lamb and the meal offering and the oil every morning for a continual burnt offering.

They shall offer the lamb, and the oblation, and the oil, every morning for a continual burnt-offering.

16 T hus says the Lord God: If the prince gives a gift to any of his sons out of his inheritance, it shall belong to his sons; it is their property by inheritance.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, it shall be that one's inheritance, for his sons: it shall be their possession by inheritance.

17 B ut if he gives a gift out of his inheritance to one of his servants, then it shall be his until the year of liberty; after that it shall be returned to the prince; only his sons may keep a gift from his inheritance.

But if he give a gift of his inheritance to one of his servants, it shall be his until the year of liberty; and it shall return to the prince: to his sons alone shall his inheritance remain.

18 M oreover, the prince shall not take of the people’s inheritance by oppression, thrusting them out of their property; what he gives to his sons he shall take out of his own possession, so that none of My people shall be separated from his possession.

And the prince shall not take of the people's inheritance, to thrust them by oppression out of their possession: he shall give his sons an inheritance out of his own possession: that my people be not scattered every one from his possession.

19 T hen he led me through the entrance which was at the side of the gate into the holy chambers for the priests, which faced the north; and behold, there was a place at the extreme western end of them.

Then he brought me through the passage which was at the side of the gate, into the holy cells which were for the priests, which looked toward the north; and behold, a place was there at the end westward.

20 A nd he said to me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the guilt offering and the sin offering, and where they shall bake the meal offering, to prevent their having to bring them into the outer court, lest they should thereby wrongfully sanctify (separate and consecrate for holy service) the people who are there.

And he said unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass-offering, and the sin-offering, where they shall bake the oblation, that they bring them not out into the outer court, so as to hallow the people.

21 A nd he brought me out into the outer court and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court, and behold, in every corner of the court there was a court.

And he brought me forth into the outer court, and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and behold, in every corner of the court there was a court.

22 I n the four corners of the court there were courts joined on and enclosed, forty cubits long and thirty broad; these four in the corners were the same size.

In the four corners of the court there were enclosed courts, forty long and thirty broad: these four corner courts were of one measure.

23 A nd there was a row of masonry inside them, round about the four courts, and it was made with hearths for boiling at the bottom of the rows round about.

And there was a row round about in them, round about those four, and it was made with boiling places under the rows round about.

24 T hen said he to me, These are the kitchens of those who do the boiling, where the ministers of the temple shall boil the sacrifices of the people.

And he said unto me, These are the boiling-houses, where those who do the service of the house shall boil the sacrifice of the people.
