1 D omnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

2 V orbeşte copiilor lui Israel: Să-Mi aducă un dar; să -l primiţi pentru Mine dela orice om care -l va da cu tragere de inimă.

Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me a heave-offering: of every one whose heart prompteth him, ye shall take my heave-offering.

3 I ată ce veţi primi dela ei ca dar: aur, argint şi aramă;

And this is the heave-offering that ye shall take of them: gold, and silver, and copper,

4 m aterii vopsite în albastru, purpuriu, cîrmiziu, pînză de in subţire şi păr de capră;

and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and byssus, and goats',

5 p iei de berbeci vopsite în roş şi piei de viţel de mare; lemn de salcîm;

and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins; and acacia-wood;

6 u ntdelemn pentru sfeşnic, mirodenii pentru untdelemnul ungerii şi pentru tămîia mirositoare;

oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil, and for the incense of fragrant drugs;

7 p ietre de onix şi alte pietre pentru efod (umărar) şi pieptar.

onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.

8 S ă-Mi facă un locaş sfînt, şi Eu voi locui în mijlocul lor.

And they shall make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.

9 S ă faceţi cortul şi toate vasele lui după chipul pe care ţi -l voi arăta.``

According to all that I shall shew thee, the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the utensils thereof, even so shall ye make.

10 S ă facă un chivot de lemn de salcîm; lungimea lui să fie de două coturi şi jumătate, lăţimea de un cot şi jumătate, şi înălţimea de un cot şi jumătate.

And they shall make an ark of acacia-wood; two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

11 S ă -l poleieşti cu aur curat, să -l poleieşti pe din lăuntru şi pe din afară, şi să -i faci un chenar de aur de jur împrejur.

And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold: inside and outside shalt thou overlay it; and shalt make upon it a border of gold round about.

12 S ă torni pentru el patru verigi de aur, şi să le pui la cele patru colţuri ale lui: două verigi deoparte şi două verigi de cealaltă parte.

And cast four rings of gold for it, and put at the four corners thereof, that two rings may be upon the one side thereof and two rings upon the other side thereof.

13 S ă faci nişte drugi de lemn de salcîm, şi să -i poleieşti cu aur.

And make staves of acacia-wood and overlay them with gold.

14 S ă vîri drugii în verigile de pe laturile chivotului, ca să slujească la ducerea chivotului;

And put the staves into the rings upon the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.

15 d rugii vor rămînea în verigile chivotului, şi nu vor fi scoşi din ele.

The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not come out from it.

16 S ă pui în chivot mărturia, pe care ţi -o voi da.

And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony that I shall give thee.

17 S ă faci un capac al ispăşirii de aur curat; lungimea lui să fie de doi coţi şi jumătate, şi lăţimea lui de un cot şi jumătate.

And thou shalt make a mercy-seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

18 S ă faci doi heruvimi de aur, să -i faci de aur bătut, la cele două capete ale capacului ispăşirii;

And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold; beaten work shalt thou make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat.

19 s ă faci un heruvim la un capăt şi un heruvim la celalt capăt; să faceţi heruvimii aceştia ieşind din capacul ispăşirii la cele două capete ale lui.

And make one cherub at the end of the one side, and one cherub at the end of the other side; out of the mercy-seat shall ye make the cherubim at the two ends thereof.

20 H eruvimii să fie cu aripile întinse pedeasupra, acoperind cu aripile lor capacul ispăşirii, şi cu feţele întoarse una spre alta; heruvimii să aibă faţa întoarsă spre capacul ispăşirii.

And the cherubim shall stretch out wings over it, covering over with their wings the mercy-seat, and their faces opposite to one another: toward the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.

21 S ă pui capacul ispăşirii pe chivot, şi în chivot să pui mărturia, pe care ţi -o voi da.

And thou shalt put the mercy-seat above on the ark, and shalt put in the ark the testimony that I shall give thee.

22 A colo Mă voi întîlni cu tine; şi dela înălţimea capacului ispăşirii, dintre cei doi heruvimi aşezaţi pe chivotul mărturiei, îţi voi da toate poruncile Mele pentru copiii lui Israel.

And there will I meet with thee, and will speak with thee from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, everything that I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

23 S ă faci o masă de lemn de salcîm; lungimea ei să fie de doi coţi, lăţimea de un cot, şi înălţimea de un cot şi jumătate.

And thou shalt make a table of acacia-wood, two cubits the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

24 S 'o poleieşti cu aur curat, şi să -i faci un chenar de aur de jur împrejur.

And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make upon it a border of gold round about.

25 S ă -i faci împrejur un pervaz de un lat de mînă; peste el să pui un chenar de aur de jur împrejur.

And thou shalt make for it a margin of a handbreadth round about, and shalt make a border of gold for the margin thereof round about.

26 S ă faci pentru masă patru verigi de aur, şi să pui verigile în cele patru colţuri, cari vor fi la cele patru picioare ale ei.

And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings at the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.

27 V erigile să fie lîngă pervaz, şi în ele se vor vîrî drugii ca să ducă masa.

Close to the margin shall the rings be, as receptacles of the staves to carry the table.

28 D rugii să -i faci din lemn de salcîm, şi să -i acoperi cu aur; şi ei vor sluji la ducerea mesei.

And thou shalt make the staves of acacia-wood, and overlay them with gold; and the table shall be carried upon them.

29 S ă -i faci farfurii, căţui, potire şi ceşti, ca să slujească la jertfele de băutură: să le faci de aur curat.

And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and cups thereof, and goblets thereof, and bowls thereof, with which to pour out: of pure gold shalt thou make them.

30 S ă pui pe masă pînile pentru punerea înainte, ca să fie necurmat înaintea Mea.

And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me continually.

31 S ă faci un sfeşnic de aur curat: sfeşnicul acesta să fie făcut de aur bătut: piciorul, fusul, potiraşele, gămălioarele şi florile lui să fie dintr'o bucată.

And thou shalt make a lamp-stand of pure gold; beaten work shall the lamp-stand be made: its base and its shaft, its cups, its knobs, and its flowers shall be of the same.

32 D in laturile lui să iasă şase braţe; trei braţe ale sfeşnicului dintr'o parte, şi trei braţe ale sfeşnicului din cealaltă parte.

And six branches shall come out of the sides thereof—three branches of the lamp-stand out of one side thereof, and three branches of the lamp-stand out of the other side thereof;

33 P e un braţ să fie trei potiraşe în chip de floare de migdal, cu gămălioarele şi florile lor, şi pe celalt braţ trei potiraşe în chip de floare de migdal, cu gămălioarele şi florile lor; tot aşa să fie şi cele şase braţe cari ies din sfeşnic.

three cups shaped like almonds in the one branch, a knob and a flower: and three cups shaped like almonds in the other branch, a knob and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the lamp-stand.

34 P e fusul sfeşnicului, să fie patru potiraşe în chip de floare cu migdal, cu gămălioarele şi florile lor.

And in the lamp-stand four cups shaped like almonds, its knobs and its flowers;

35 S ă fie o gămălioară subt cele două braţe cari ies din fusul sfeşnicului, o gămălioară subt alte două braţe, şi o gămălioară subt alte două braţe; tot aşa să fie şi subt cele şase braţe, cari ies din sfeşnic.

and a knob under two branches of it, and a knob under two branches of it, and a knob under two branches of it, for the six branches that proceed out of the lamp-stand.

36 G ămălioarele şi braţele sfeşnicului să fie dintr'o singură bucată; totul să fie de aur bătut, de aur curat.

Their knobs and their branches shall be of itself—all of one beaten work of pure gold.

37 S ă faci cele şapte candele, care vor fi puse deasupra, aşa ca să lumineze în faţă.

And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof, and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may shine out before it;

38 M ucările şi cenuşarele lui să fie de aur curat.

and the snuffers thereof, and the snuff-trays thereof, of pure gold.

39 S e va întrebuinţa un talant de aur curat pentru facerea sfeşnicului cu toate uneltele lui.

Of a talent of pure gold shall they make it, with all these utensils.

40 V ezi să faci după chipul, care ţi s'a arătat pe munte.

And see that thou make according to their pattern, which hath been shewn to thee in the mountain.
