1 I ată împăraţii pe cari i-au bătut copiii lui Israel, şi a căror ţară au luat -o în stăpînire de cealaltă parte a Iordanului, spre răsăritul soarelui, dela pîrîul Arnon pînă la muntele Hermonului, cu toată cîmpia de la răsărit:

And these are the kings of the land, whom the children of Israel smote, and of whose land they took possession across the Jordan, toward the sun-rising, from the river Arnon to mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:

2 P e Sihon, împăratul Amoriţilor, care locuia la Hesbon. Stăpînirea lui se întindea dela Aroer, care este pe malul pîrîului Arnon, şi, dela mijlocul pîrîului, peste jumătate din Galaad, pînă la pîrîul Iaboc, hotarul copiilor lui Amon;

Sihon the king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the ravine, and over half Gilead, as far as the river Jabbok, the border of the children of Ammon;

3 d ela cîmpie pînă la marea Chineret la răsărit, şi pînă la marea cîmpiei, care este marea Sărată, la răsărit, spre Bet-Ieşimot; şi dela miazăzi, subt poalele muntelui Pisga.

and the plain as far as the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and as far as the sea of the plain, the salt sea, on the east, toward Beth-jeshimoth; and on the south, under the slopes of Pisgah;

4 P e Og, împăratul Basanului, singura rămăşiţă a Refaimiţilor, cari locuiau la Aştarot şi la Edrei.

and the territory of Og the king of Bashan, of the residue of the giants, who dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,

5 S tăpînirea lui se întindea peste muntele Hermonului, peste Salca, peste tot Basanul, pînă la hotarul Gheşuriţilor şi Maacatiţilor, şi peste jumătate din Galaad, hotarul lui Sihon, împăratul Hesbonului.

and ruled over mount Hermon, and over Salcah, and over all Bashan, as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead the border of Sihon the king of Heshbon.

6 M oise, robul Domnului, şi copiii lui Israel, i-au bătut; şi Moise, robul Domnului, le -a dat ţara lor în stăpînirea Rubeniţilor, Gadiţilor, şi la jumătate din seminţia lui Manase.

Moses the servant of Jehovah and the children of Israel smote them, and Moses the servant of Jehovah gave it for a possession to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh.

7 I ată împăraţii pe cari i-au bătut Iosua şi copiii lui Israel dincoace de Iordan, la apus, dela Baal-Gad în valea Libanului pînă la muntele cel pleşuv, care se înalţă spre Seir. Iosua a dat ţara lor în stăpînire seminţiilor lui Israel, fiecăreia i -a dat partea ei,

And these are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side the Jordan on the west, from Baal-Gad in the valley of Lebanon as far as the smooth mountain, which rises toward Seir. And Joshua gave it to the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions,

in the mountain, and in the lowland, and in the plain, and on the hill-slopes, and in the wilderness, and in the south: the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites:

The king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;

10 î mpăratul Ierusalimului, unul; împăratul Hebronului, unul;

the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;

11 î mpăratul Iarmutului, unul; împăratul din Lachis, unul;

the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;

12 î mpăratul Eglonului, unul; împăratul Ghezerului, unul;

the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;

13 î mpăratul Debirului unul; împăratul Ghederului, unul;

the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;

14 î mpăratul din Horma, unul; împăratul Aradului, unul;

the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;

15 î mpăratul Libnei, unul; împăratul Adulamului, unul;

23 î mpăratul Dorului, pe înălţimile Dorului, unul; împăratul Goimului, lîngă Ghilgal, unul;

the king of Dor in the upland of Dor, one; the king of Goim, at Gilgal, one;

24 î mpăratul din Tirţa, unul. Peste tot treizeci şi unu de împăraţi.

the king of Tirzah, one: all the kings thirty and one.
