1 T hen the man brought me back the way of the outer gate of the sanctuary which faces the east, and it was shut.

Me hizo volver hacia la puerta exterior del santuario, la cual mira hacia el oriente, y estaba cerrada.

2 T hen the Lord said to me, This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened and no man shall enter in by it, for the Lord, the God of Israel, has entered in by it; therefore it shall remain shut.

Y me dijo Jehová: «Esta puerta estará cerrada; no se abrirá y no entrará nadie por ella, porque Jehová, Dios de Israel, entró por ella; estará, por tanto, cerrada.

3 A s for the prince, being the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the Lord; he shall enter by way of the porch or vestibule of the gate and shall go out the same way.

En cuanto al gobernante, por ser el gobernante, él se sentará allí para comer pan delante de Jehová; por el vestíbulo de la puerta entrará y por ese mismo camino saldrá.»

4 T hen he brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple; I looked, and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord, and I fell upon my face.

Me llevó hacia la puerta del norte por delante de la casa; y miré, y he aquí que la gloria de Jehová había llenado la casa de Jehová; y me postré sobre mi rostro.

5 A nd the Lord said to me, Son of man, mark well and set your heart to see with your eyes and hear with your ears all that I say to you concerning all the ordinances of the house of the Lord and all its laws, and mark well and set your heart to know who are allowed to enter the temple and all those who are excluded from the sanctuary.

Me dijo Jehová: «Hijo de hombre, pon atención, observa con cuidado y escucha atentamente todo lo que hablo contigo sobre todas las ordenanzas de la casa de Jehová y todas sus leyes. Pon atención a las entradas de la casa y a todas las salidas del santuario.

6 A nd you shall say to the rebellious, even to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: O you house of Israel, let all your previous abominations be enough for you!

Y dirás a los rebeldes, a la casa de Israel: “Así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: ¡Basta ya de todas vuestras abominaciones, casa de Israel!

7 Y ou have brought into My sanctuary aliens, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in My sanctuary to pollute and profane it, even My house, when you offer My bread, the fat and the blood; and through it all and in addition to all your abominations, they and you have broken My covenant.

¡Basta ya de traer extranjeros, incircuncisos de corazón e incircuncisos de carne, para estar en mi santuario y para contaminar mi casa; de ofrecer mi pan, la grasa y la sangre, y de invalidar mi pacto con todas vuestras abominaciones!

8 A nd you have not kept charge of My holy things, but you have chosen foreign keepers to please yourselves and have set them in charge of My sanctuary.

Pues no habéis guardado lo establecido acerca de mis cosas santas, sino que habéis puesto extranjeros como guardas de las ordenanzas en mi santuario.

9 T herefore thus says the Lord God: No foreigner uncircumcised in heart and flesh shall enter into My sanctuary, of any foreigners who are among the children of Israel.

»”Así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: Ningún hijo de extranjero, incircunciso de corazón e incircunciso de carne, entrará en mi santuario, de todos los hijos de extranjeros que están entre los hijos de Israel.

10 B ut the Levites who went far away from Me when Israel went astray, who went astray from Me after their idols, they shall bear their iniquity and guilt.

Los levitas que se apartaron de mí cuando Israel se alejó de mí, yéndose tras sus ídolos, llevarán su iniquidad.

11 T hey shall minister in My sanctuary, having oversight as guards at the gates of the temple and ministering in the temple. They shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall attend the people to serve them.

Servirán en mi santuario como porteros a las puertas de la casa y sirvientes en la casa. Ellos matarán para el pueblo el holocausto y la víctima, y estarán ante él para servirlo,

12 B ecause ministered to before their idols and became a stumbling block of iniquity and guilt to the house of Israel, therefore I have lifted up My hand and have sworn against them, says the Lord God, that they shall bear the punishment for their iniquity and guilt.

por cuanto los sirvieron delante de sus ídolos, y fueron a la casa de Israel por tropezadero de maldad. Por eso he alzado mi mano y jurado, dice Jehová, el Señor, que ellos llevarán su iniquidad.

13 A nd they shall not come near to Me to do the office of a priest to Me, nor come near to any of My holy things that are most sacred; but they shall bear their shame and their punishment for the abominations which they have committed.

No se acercarán a mí para servirme como sacerdotes, ni se acercarán a ninguna de mis cosas santas, a mis cosas santísimas, sino que llevarán su ignominia y las abominaciones que hicieron.

14 Y et I will appoint them as caretakers to have charge of the temple, for all the service of the temple and for all that will be done in it.

Los pondré, pues, por guardas encargados de la custodia de la casa, para todo el servicio de ella y para todo lo que en ella haya de hacerse.

15 B ut the Levitical priests, the sons of Zadok, who kept the charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, shall come near to Me to minister to Me, and they shall attend Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood, says the Lord God.

»”Pero los sacerdotes levitas, hijos de Sadoc, que guardaron el ordenamiento del santuario cuando los hijos de Israel se apartaron de mí, ellos se acercarán para ministrar ante mí, y delante de mí estarán para ofrecerme la grasa y la sangre, dice Jehová, el Señor.

16 T hey shall enter into My sanctuary; and they shall come near to My table to minister to Me, and they shall keep My charge.

Ellos entrarán en mi santuario, se acercarán a mi mesa para servirme y guardarán mis ordenanzas.

17 W hen they enter the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed in linen garments; no wool shall be on them while they minister at the gates of the inner court and within the temple.

Cuando entren por las puertas del atrio interior, se vestirán con vestiduras de lino; no llevarán sobre ellos cosa de lana cuando ministren en las puertas del atrio interior y dentro de la casa.

18 T hey shall have linen turbans on their heads and linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with anything that causes sweat.

Turbantes de lino tendrán sobre sus cabezas, y llevarán calzoncillos de lino sobre sus caderas. No se ceñirán nada que los haga sudar.

19 A nd when they go out into the outer court to the people, they shall put off the garments in which they ministered and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments, lest by contact of their garments with the people they should consecrate (separate and set apart for holy use) such persons.

Cuando salgan al atrio exterior, al atrio de afuera, al pueblo, se quitarán las vestiduras con que ministraron, las dejarán en las cámaras del santuario y se pondrán otros vestidos, para no santificar al pueblo con sus vestiduras.

20 N either shall they shave their heads or allow their locks to grow long; they shall only cut short or trim the hair of their heads.

No se raparán la cabeza ni se dejarán crecer el cabello; solamente lo recortarán.

21 N either shall any priest drink wine when he enters the inner court.

Ninguno de los sacerdotes beberá vino cuando haya de entrar en el atrio interior.

22 N either shall they take for their wives a widow or a woman separated or divorced from her husband; but they shall marry maidens of the offspring of the house of Israel or a widow previously married to a priest.

Ni viuda ni repudiada tomará por mujer, sino que tomará una virgen del linaje de la casa de Israel, o una viuda que sea viuda de un sacerdote.

23 T he priests shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the common or profane, and cause them to distinguish between the unclean and the clean.

Enseñarán a mi pueblo a hacer diferencia entre lo santo y lo profano, y los enseñarán a discernir entre lo puro y lo impuro.

24 A nd in a controversy they shall act as judges, and they shall judge according to My judgments; and they shall keep My laws and My statutes in all My appointed feasts, and they shall keep My Sabbaths holy.

En los casos de pleito, ellos estarán para juzgar, y conforme a mis juicios juzgarán. Mis leyes y mis decretos guardarán en todas mis fiestas solemnes, y santificarán mis sábados.

25 A nd they shall go near to no dead person to defile themselves, except for father or for mother, for son or for daughter, for brother or for sister who has had no husband; for them they may defile themselves.

No se acercarán a un hombre muerto, para no contaminarse; aunque por padre o madre, hijo o hija, hermano o hermana que no haya tenido marido, sí podrán contaminarse.

26 A nd after he is cleansed they shall reckon to him seven days more before returning to the temple.

Después de su purificación, le contarán siete días.

27 A nd on the day that he goes into the sanctuary, into the inner court to minister in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering, says the Lord God.

Y el día que entre al santuario, en el atrio interior, para ministrar en el santuario, ofrecerá su expiación, dice Jehová, el Señor.

28 T his shall be to them as an inheritance, for I am their inheritance; and you shall give them no possession in Israel, for I am their possession.

»”Habrá para ellos heredad: yo seré su heredad. No les daréis propiedad en Israel: yo soy su propiedad.

29 T hey shall eat the meal offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering, and every offering in Israel dedicated by a solemn vow to God shall be theirs.

De la ofrenda, la expiación y el sacrificio por el pecado comerán. Toda cosa consagrada en Israel será de ellos.

30 A nd the first of all the firstfruits of all kinds, and every offering of all kinds from all your offerings, shall belong to the priests. You shall also give to the priest the first of your coarse meal and bread dough, that a blessing may rest on your house.

Y las primicias de todos los primeros frutos de todo, y toda ofrenda de todo lo que se presente de todas vuestras ofrendas, será de los sacerdotes; asimismo daréis al sacerdote las primicias de todo cuanto amaséis, para que repose la bendición en vuestras casas.

31 T he priests shall not eat of anything that has died of itself or is torn, whether it be bird or beast.

Ninguna cosa mortecina o desgarrada, ya sea de aves o de bestias, comerán los sacerdotes.
