I fiumi hanno elevato, o Eterno, i fiumi hanno elevato la loro voce; i fiumi hanno elevato le loro onde fragorose;

4 T he Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

ma l'Eterno nei luoghi altissimi è piú potente delle voci delle grandi acque, piú potente dei flutti del mare.

5 T hy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever.

I tuoi statuti sono oltremodo stabili. La SANTITA' si addice alla tua casa, o Eterno, per sempre.
