1 E stos son los reyes de la tierra que los hijos de Israel derrotaron y cuya tierra poseyeron al otro lado del Jordán hacia donde nace el sol, desde el arroyo de Arnón hasta el monte Hermón, y todo el Arabá al oriente:

These are the kings of the land whom the sons of Israel won the war against east of the Jordan. They took their land from the Arnon valley to Mount Hermon, and all the Arabah to the east.

2 S ehón rey de los amorreos, que habitaba en Hesbón, y señoreaba desde Aroer, que está a la ribera del arroyo de Arnón, y desde en medio del valle, y la mitad de Galaad, hasta el arroyo de Jaboc, término de los hijos de Amón;

There was Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon. He ruled from Aroer on the side of the Arnon valley, and from the center of the valley and half of Gilead as far as the river Jabbok, beside the Ammonites.

3 y el Arabá hasta el mar de Cinerot, al oriente; y hasta el mar del Arabá, el Mar Salado, al oriente, por el camino de Bet-jesimot, y desde el sur al pie de las laderas del Pisgá.

And he ruled the Arabah as far as the Sea of Chinneroth in the east, and as far as the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, east toward Beth-jeshimoth and south to the bottom of the hills of Pisgah.

4 Y el territorio de Og rey de Basán, que había quedado de los refaítas, el cual habitaba en Astarot y en Edreí,

And they took the land of Og, king of Bashan, one of the Rephaim who were still living. Og lived at Ashtaroth and Edrei.

5 y dominaba en el monte Hermón, en Salcá, en todo Basán hasta los límites de Gesur y de Maacá, y la mitad de Galaad, territorio de Sehón rey de Hesbón.

He ruled over Mount Hermon and Salecah and all Bashan. He ruled as far as the land of the Geshurites, the Maacathites, and half of Gilead, as far as the land of Sihon, king of Heshbon.

6 A éstos derrotaron Moisés siervo de Jehová y los hijos de Israel; y Moisés siervo de Jehová dio aquella tierra en posesión a los rubenitas, a los gaditas y a la media tribu de Manasés. Reyes derrotados por Josué

The Lord’s servant Moses and the people of Israel won the war against them. Moses the Lord’s servant gave their land to the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-family group of Manasseh.

7 Y estos son los reyes de la tierra a los que derrotaron Josué y los hijos de Israel, al lado occidental del Jordán, desde Baal-gad en el llano del Líbano hasta el monte de Halac que se alza hacia Seír; y Josué dio la tierra en posesión a las tribus de Israel, conforme a su distribución;

These are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the sons of Israel won the war against west of the Jordan, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon as far as Mount Halak which goes up to Seir. (Joshua gave their land as a gift to the family groups of Israel, by each one’s share.

8 e n las montañas, en los valles, en el Arabá, en las laderas, en el desierto y en el Négueb; el heteo, el amorreo, el cananeo, el ferezeo, el heveo y el jebuseo.

He gave them the hill country, the valleys, the Arabah, the hill-sides, the desert, and the Negev. It was the land of the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite.)

9 E l rey de Jericó, uno; el rey de Hay, que está al lado de Betel, otro;

There was the king of Jericho, the king of Ai which is beside Bethel,

10 e l rey de Jerusalén, otro; el rey de Hebrón, otro;

the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron,

11 e l rey de Jarmut, otro; el rey de Laquís, otro;

the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish,

12 e l rey de Eglón, otro; el rey de Gézer, otro;

the king of Eglon, and the king of Gezer.

13 e l rey de Debir, otro; el rey de Géder, otro;

There was the king of Debir, the king of Geder,

14 e l rey de Hormá, otro; el rey de Arad, otro;

the king of Horman, the king of Arad,

15 e l rey de Libná, otro; el rey de Adulam, otro;

the king of Libnah, the king of Adullam,

16 e l rey de Maquedá, otro; el rey de Betel, otro;

the king of Makkedah, and the king of Bethel.

17 e l rey de Tapúa, otro; el rey de Héfer, otro;

There was the king of Tappuah, the king of Hepher,

18 e l rey de Afec, otro; el rey de Sarón, otro;

the king of Aphek, the king of Lasharon,

19 e l rey de Madón, otro; el rey de Hazor, otro;

the king of Madon, the king of Hazor,

20 e l rey de Simrón-merón, otro; el rey de Acsaf, otro;

the king of Shimron-meron, and the king of Achshaph.

21 e l rey de Taanac, otro; el rey de Meguidó, otro;

There was the king of Taanach, the king of Megiddo,

22 e l rey de Cedes, otro; el rey de Jocneam del Carmelo, otro;

the king of Kedesh, the king of Jokneam in Carmel,

23 e l rey de Dor, de la provincia de Dor, otro; el rey de Goim en Gilgal, otro;

the king of Dor in the high-lands of Dor, the king of Goiim in Gilgal,

24 e l rey de Tirsá, otro; treinta y un reyes en total.

and the king of Tirzah. There were thirty-one kings in all.
