1 Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo:

Then the Lord said to Moses,

2 M anda a los hijos de Israel y diles: Cuando hayáis entrado en la tierra de Canaán, esto es, la tierra que os ha de caer en herencia, la tierra de Canaán según sus límites,

“Tell the people of Israel, ‘When you go into the land of Canaan, this is the land that will be given to you, all the land of Canaan.

3 t endréis el lado del sur desde el desierto de Zin hasta la frontera de Edom; y será el límite del sur al extremo del Mar Salado hacia el oriente.

Your south side will be from the Desert of Zin along the side of Edom. It will go east from the end of the Salt Sea.

4 E ste límite os irá rodeando desde el sur hasta la subida de Acrabim, y pasará hasta Zin; y se extenderá del sur a Cadés-barnea; y continuará a Hasar-adar, y pasará hasta Asmón.

Then the side of your land will turn from the south up to the pass of Akrabbim and on to Zin. Its end will be south of Kadesh-barnea. It will go to Hazaraddar and on to Azmon.

5 R odeará este límite desde Asmón hasta el torrente de Egipto, y sus remates serán al occidente.

Then it will turn from Azmon to the river of Egypt, and will end at the sea.

6 Y el límite occidental será el Mar Grande; este límite será el límite occidental.

‘The west side of your land will be the shore of the Great Sea.

7 E l límite del norte será este: desde el Mar Grande trazaréis al monte de Hor.

‘Your north side will be from the Great Sea to Mount Hor.

8 D el monte de Hor trazaréis a la entrada de Hamat, y seguirá aquel límite hasta Zedad;

And it will go from Mount Hor to the Lebohamath, and end at Zedad.

9 y seguirá este límite hasta Zifrón, y terminará en Hazar-enán; éste será el límite del norte.

Then it will go to Ziphron and end at Hazer-enan. This will be the north side.

10 P or límite al oriente trazaréis desde Hazar-enán hasta Sefam;

‘The east side of your land will be from Hazer-enan to Shepham,

11 y bajará este límite desde Sefam a Riblá, al oriente de Ayin; y descenderá el límite, y llegará a la costa del mar de Quinéret, al oriente.

then down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain. Then it will go down to the hill on the east side of the Sea of Chinnereth.

12 D espués descenderá este límite al Jordán, y terminará en el Mar Salado; esta será vuestra tierra por sus límites alrededor.

It will go down to the Jordan and end at the Salt Sea. This will be the sides all around your land.’”

13 Y mandó Moisés a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Esta es la tierra que se os repartirá en heredades por sorteo, que mandó Jehová que diese a las nueve tribus, y a la media tribu;

Moses told the people of Israel, “This is the land you will receive by drawing names, which the Lord has said should be given to the nine and a half-family groups.

14 p orque la tribu de los hijos de Rubén según las casas de sus padres, y la tribu de los hijos de Gad según las casas de sus padres, y la media tribu de Manasés, han tomado su heredad.

For the sons of Reuben have received their land by their fathers’ houses. The sons of Gad have received theirs by their fathers’ houses. And the half-family group of Manasseh has received their land.

15 D os tribus y media tomaron su heredad a este lado del Jordán frente a Jericó al oriente, al nacimiento del sol. Los principales encargados del reparto

The two and a half-family groups have received their land on the other side of the Jordan from Jericho, toward the east.”

16 Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:

The Lord said to Moses,

17 E stos son los nombres de los varones que os repartirán la tierra: El sacerdote Eleazar, y Josué hijo de Nun.

“Eleazar the religious leader and Joshua the son of Nun are the men who will divide the land to be given to you.

18 T omaréis también de cada tribu un príncipe, para dar la posesión de la tierra.

And take one leader of every family group to divide the land among you.

19 Y estos son los nombres de los varones: De la tribu de Judá, Caleb hijo de Jefuné.

These are the names of the men. Take Caleb the son of Jephunneh of the family group of Judah.

20 D e la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, Semuel hijo de Amiud.

Take Samuel the son of Ammihud of the family group of the sons of Simeon.

21 D e la tribu de Benjamín, Elidad hijo de Quislón.

Take Elidad the son of Chislon of the family group of Benjamin.

22 D e la tribu de los hijos de Dan, el príncipe Buquí hijo de Joglí.

Take Bukki the son of Jogli as the leader of the family group of the sons of Dan.

23 D e los hijos de José: de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, el príncipe Haniel hijo de Efod,

Of the sons of Joseph, take Hanniel the son of Ephod as the leader of the family group of the sons of Manasseh.

24 y de la tribu de los hijos de Efraín, el príncipe Kemuel hijo de Siftán.

Take Kemuel the son of Shiphtan as the leader of the family group of the sons of Ephraim.

25 D e la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, el príncipe Elizafán hijo de Parnac.

Take Elizaphan the son of Parnach as the leader of the family group of the sons of Zebulun.

26 D e la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, el príncipe Paltiel hijo de Azán.

Take Paltiel the son of Azzan as the leader of the family group of the sons of Issachar.

27 D e la tribu de los hijos de Aser, el príncipe Ahud hijo de Selomí.

Take Ahihud the son of Shelomi as the leader of the family group of the sons of Asher.

28 Y de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, el príncipe Pedael hijo de Amiud.

And take Pedahel the son of Ammihud as the leader of the family group of the sons of Naphtali.”

29 A éstos mandó Jehová que hiciesen el reparto de las heredades a los hijos de Israel en la tierra de Canaán.

These are the men whom the Lord told to divide the land among the people of Israel in the land of Canaan.
