1 É stos son los reyes de la tierra que los hijos de Israel derrotaron y cuya tierra poseyeron al otro lado del Jordán hacia donde nace el sol, desde el arroyo Arnón hasta el monte Hermón, con todo el Arabá oriental:

These are the kings of the land whom the sons of Israel won the war against east of the Jordan. They took their land from the Arnon valley to Mount Hermon, and all the Arabah to the east.

2 S ehón, rey de los amorreos, que habitaba en Hesbón y señoreaba desde Aroer —a la ribera del arroyo Arnón—, hasta el arroyo Jaboc —límite de los hijos de Amón—, incluida la cuenca del valle y la mitad de Galaad,

There was Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon. He ruled from Aroer on the side of the Arnon valley, and from the center of the valley and half of Gilead as far as the river Jabbok, beside the Ammonites.

3 y el lado oriental del Arabá hasta el mar de Cineret y hasta el mar del Arabá, el Mar Salado, al oriente, por el camino de Bet-jesimot, y por el sur hasta el pie de las laderas del Pisga.

And he ruled the Arabah as far as the Sea of Chinneroth in the east, and as far as the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, east toward Beth-jeshimoth and south to the bottom of the hills of Pisgah.

4 E l territorio de Og, rey de Basán —un descendiente de los refaítas—, que habitaba en Astarot y en Edrei,

And they took the land of Og, king of Bashan, one of the Rephaim who were still living. Og lived at Ashtaroth and Edrei.

5 y dominaba en el monte Hermón, en Salca, en todo Basán hasta los límites de Gesur y de Maaca, y en la mitad de Galaad, territorio de Sehón, rey de Hesbón.

He ruled over Mount Hermon and Salecah and all Bashan. He ruled as far as the land of the Geshurites, the Maacathites, and half of Gilead, as far as the land of Sihon, king of Heshbon.

6 A estos derrotaron Moisés, siervo de Jehová, y los hijos de Israel; y Moisés, siervo de Jehová, había dado aquella tierra en posesión a los rubenitas, a los gaditas y a la media tribu de Manasés. Reyes derrotados por Josué

The Lord’s servant Moses and the people of Israel won the war against them. Moses the Lord’s servant gave their land to the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-family group of Manasseh.

7 É stos son los reyes de la tierra que Josué y los hijos de Israel derrotaron del lado occidental del Jordán, desde Baal-gad, en el llano del Líbano, hasta el monte Halac que sube hacia Seir, y cuya tierra dio Josué en posesión a las tribus de Israel, conforme a su distribución,

These are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the sons of Israel won the war against west of the Jordan, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon as far as Mount Halak which goes up to Seir. (Joshua gave their land as a gift to the family groups of Israel, by each one’s share.

8 e n las montañas, en los valles, en el Arabá, en las laderas, en el desierto y en el Neguev, donde vivían el heteo, el amorreo, el cananeo, el ferezeo, el heveo y el jebuseo:

He gave them the hill country, the valleys, the Arabah, the hill-sides, the desert, and the Negev. It was the land of the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite.)

9 E l rey de Jericó; el rey de Hai, que está al lado de Bet-el;

There was the king of Jericho, the king of Ai which is beside Bethel,

10 e l rey de Jerusalén; el rey de Hebrón;

the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron,

11 e l rey de Jarmut; el rey de Laquis;

the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish,

12 e l rey de Eglón; el rey de Gezer;

the king of Eglon, and the king of Gezer.

13 e l rey de Debir; el rey de Geder;

There was the king of Debir, the king of Geder,

14 e l rey de Horma; el rey de Arad;

the king of Horman, the king of Arad,

15 e l rey de Libna; el rey de Adulam;

the king of Libnah, the king of Adullam,

16 e l rey de Maceda; el rey de Bet-el;

the king of Makkedah, and the king of Bethel.

17 e l rey de Tapúa; el rey de Hefer;

There was the king of Tappuah, the king of Hepher,

18 e l rey de Afec; el rey de Sarón;

the king of Aphek, the king of Lasharon,

19 e l rey de Madón; el rey de Hazor;

the king of Madon, the king of Hazor,

20 e l rey de Simron-merón; el rey de Acsaf;

the king of Shimron-meron, and the king of Achshaph.

21 e l rey de Taanac; el rey de Meguido;

There was the king of Taanach, the king of Megiddo,

22 e l rey de Cedes; el rey de Jocneam del Carmelo;

the king of Kedesh, the king of Jokneam in Carmel,

23 e l rey de Dor, de la provincia de Dor; el rey de Goim en Gilgal;

the king of Dor in the high-lands of Dor, the king of Goiim in Gilgal,

24 e l rey de Tirsa; treinta y un reyes en total.

and the king of Tirzah. There were thirty-one kings in all.
