1 C uando Jehová hizo volver de la cautividad a Sión, fuimos como los que sueñan.

It was like a dream when the Lord brought back to Zion those who had been held in another land.

2 E ntonces nuestra boca se llenó de risa y nuestra lengua de alabanza. Entonces decían entre las naciones: «¡Grandes cosas ha hecho Jehová con estos!»

Then we laughed with our mouths, and we sang with our tongues. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”

3 ¡ Grandes cosas ha hecho Jehová con nosotros! ¡Estamos alegres!

The Lord has done great things for us and we are glad.

4 ¡ Haz volver nuestra cautividad, Jehová, como los arroyos del Neguev!

Bring back our people, O Lord, like the rivers in the South.

5 L os que sembraron con lágrimas, con regocijo segarán.

Those who plant with tears will gather fruit with songs of joy.

6 I rá andando y llorando el que lleva la preciosa semilla, pero al volver vendrá con regocijo trayendo sus gavillas.

He who goes out crying as he carries his bag of seed will return with songs of joy as he brings much grain with him.
