S ehón, rey de los amorreos, que habitaba en Hesbón y señoreaba desde Aroer —a la ribera del arroyo Arnón—, hasta el arroyo Jaboc —límite de los hijos de Amón—, incluida la cuenca del valle y la mitad de Galaad,

There was Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon. He ruled from Aroer on the side of the Arnon valley, and from the center of the valley and half of Gilead as far as the river Jabbok, beside the Ammonites.
