S ijón, rey de los amorreos, que reinaba en Jesbón y cuyo dominio se extendía desde Aroer, ciudad que estaba en la ribera del arroyo de Arnón, y desde el centro del valle, hasta el arroyo de Jaboc, que es la mitad de Galaad y frontera de los hijos de Amón.

There was Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon. He ruled from Aroer on the side of the Arnon valley, and from the center of the valley and half of Gilead as far as the river Jabbok, beside the Ammonites.
