S icon, re degli Amorei, che abitava a Chesbon e dominava da Aroer, che è sulle sponde del torrente Arnon, e dalla metà della valle e dalla metà di Galaad, fino al torrente Iabboc, confine dei figli di Ammon;

There was Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon. He ruled from Aroer on the side of the Arnon valley, and from the center of the valley and half of Gilead as far as the river Jabbok, beside the Ammonites.
