1 A mo al Señor, porque oye Mi voz y mis súplicas.

I love the Lord, because He has heard My voice and my supplications.

2 P orque a mí ha inclinado Su oído; Por tanto Le invocaré mientras yo viva.

Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.

3 L os lazos de la muerte me rodearon, Y los terrores del Seol vinieron sobre mí; Angustia y tristeza encontré.

The pains of death surrounded me, And the pangs of Sheol laid hold of me; I found trouble and sorrow.

4 I nvoqué entonces el nombre del Señor, diciendo: “Te ruego, oh Señor: salva mi vida.”

Then I called upon the name of the Lord: “O Lord, I implore You, deliver my soul!”

5 C lemente y justo es el Señor; Sí, compasivo es nuestro Dios.

Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; Yes, our God is merciful.

6 E l Señor guarda a los sencillos; Estaba yo postrado y me salvó.

The Lord preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.

7 V uelve, alma mía, a tu reposo, Porque el Señor te ha colmado de bienes.

Return to your rest, O my soul, For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.

8 P ues Tú has rescatado mi alma de la muerte, Mis ojos de lágrimas, Mis pies de tropezar.

For You have delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, And my feet from falling.

9 A ndaré delante del Señor En la tierra de los vivientes.

I will walk before the Lord In the land of the living.

10 Y o creía, aun cuando decía: “Estoy muy afligido.”

I believed, therefore I spoke, “I am greatly afflicted.”

11 D ije alarmado: “Todo hombre es mentiroso.”

I said in my haste, “All men are liars.”

12 ¿ Qué daré al Señor Por todos Sus beneficios para conmigo ?

What shall I render to the Lord For all His benefits toward me?

13 A lzaré la copa de la salvación, E invocaré el nombre del Señor.

I will take up the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the Lord.

14 C umpliré mis votos al Señor, Sí, en presencia de todo Su pueblo.

I will pay my vows to the Lord Now in the presence of all His people.

15 E stimada a los ojos del Señor Es la muerte de Sus santos.

Precious in the sight of the Lord Is the death of His saints.

16 ¡ Ah, Señor! Ciertamente yo soy Tu siervo, Siervo Tuyo soy, hijo de Tu sierva; Tú desataste mis ataduras.

O Lord, truly I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant; You have loosed my bonds.

17 T e ofreceré sacrificio de acción de gracias, E invocaré el nombre del Señor.

I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the Lord.

18 A l Señor cumpliré mis votos, Sí, en presencia de todo Su pueblo,

I will pay my vows to the Lord Now in the presence of all His people,

19 E n los atrios de la casa del Señor, En medio de ti, oh Jerusalén. ¡Aleluya!

In the courts of the Lord ’s house, In the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Praise the Lord!
