1 L a mano del Señor no se ha acortado para salvar; Ni Su oído se ha endurecido para oír.

Behold, the Lord ’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.

2 P ero las iniquidades de ustedes han hecho separación entre ustedes y su Dios, Y los pecados le han hecho esconder Su rostro para no escuchar los.

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.

3 P orque las manos de ustedes están manchadas de sangre, Y sus dedos de iniquidad. Sus labios hablan mentira, Su lengua murmura maldad.

For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity.

4 N o hay quien clame con justicia ni quien abogue con honestidad. Confían en la confusión, y hablan falsedades; Conciben malicia, y dan a luz iniquidad.

No one calls for justice, Nor does any plead for truth. They trust in empty words and speak lies; They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity.

5 I ncuban huevos de áspides y tejen telas de araña; El que come de sus huevos muere, Y del que es aplastado sale una víbora.

They hatch vipers’ eggs and weave the spider’s web; He who eats of their eggs dies, And from that which is crushed a viper breaks out.

6 S us telas no servirán de vestidos, Ni se cubrirán con lo que hacen. Sus obras son obras de iniquidad, Y actos de violencia hay en sus manos.

Their webs will not become garments, Nor will they cover themselves with their works; Their works are works of iniquity, And the act of violence is in their hands.

7 S us pies corren al mal, Y se apresuran a derramar sangre inocente. Sus pensamientos son pensamientos de iniquidad, Desolación y destrucción hay en sus caminos.

Their feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed innocent blood; Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; Wasting and destruction are in their paths.

8 C amino de paz no conocen, Y no hay justicia en sus senderos. Han torcido a su favor las sendas, Cualquiera que ande en ellas no conoce la paz.

The way of peace they have not known, And there is no justice in their ways; They have made themselves crooked paths; Whoever takes that way shall not know peace. Sin Confessed

9 P or tanto el derecho está lejos de nosotros, Y no nos alcanza la justicia. Esperamos luz, y sólo hay tinieblas; Claridad, pero andamos en oscuridad.

Therefore justice is far from us, Nor does righteousness overtake us; We look for light, but there is darkness! For brightness, but we walk in blackness!

10 V amos tocando la pared como ciegos, Y andamos a tientas como los que no tienen ojos; Tropezamos al mediodía como al anochecer, Entre los robustos somos como muertos.

We grope for the wall like the blind, And we grope as if we had no eyes; We stumble at noonday as at twilight; We are as dead men in desolate places.

11 T odos nosotros gruñimos como osos, Y gemimos tristemente como palomas. Esperamos la justicia, pero no la hay, La salvación, pero está lejos de nosotros.

We all growl like bears, And moan sadly like doves; We look for justice, but there is none; For salvation, but it is far from us.

12 P orque se han multiplicado nuestras transgresiones delante de Ti, Y nuestros pecados testifican contra nosotros. Porque nuestras transgresiones están con nosotros, Y conocemos nuestras iniquidades:

For our transgressions are multiplied before You, And our sins testify against us; For our transgressions are with us, And as for our iniquities, we know them:

13 T ransgredir y negar al Señor, Apartarse de nuestro Dios, Hablar de opresión y rebelión, Concebir y proferir en el corazón palabras mentirosas.

In transgressing and lying against the Lord, And departing from our God, Speaking oppression and revolt, Conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.

14 S e ha vuelto atrás el derecho, Y la justicia permanece lejos; Porque ha tropezado en la plaza la verdad, Y la rectitud no puede entrar.

Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter.

15 S í, falta la verdad, Y el que se aparta del mal es hecho presa. Y lo vio el Señor, Y desagradó a Sus ojos que no hubiera derecho.

So truth fails, And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. The Redeemer of Zion Then the Lord saw it, and it displeased Him That there was no justice.

16 V io que no había nadie, Y se asombró de que no hubiera quien intercediera. Entonces Su brazo Le trajo salvación, Y Su justicia Lo sostuvo.

He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His own righteousness, it sustained Him.

17 S e puso la justicia como coraza, Y el casco de salvación en Su cabeza; Como vestidura se puso ropas de venganza, Y se envolvió de celo como de un manto.

For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, And was clad with zeal as a cloak.

18 C onforme a los hechos, así El pagará: Furor para Sus adversarios, justo pago para Sus enemigos; A las islas dará su pago.

According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay, Fury to His adversaries, Recompense to His enemies; The coastlands He will fully repay.

19 Y temerán (reverenciarán) desde el occidente el nombre del Señor Y desde el nacimiento del sol Su gloria, Porque El vendrá como torrente impetuoso, Que el viento del Señor impulsa.

So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

20 “ Y vendrá un Redentor a Sion Y a los que se aparten de la transgresión en Jacob,” declara el Señor.

“The Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” Says the Lord.

21 “ En cuanto a Mí,” dice el Señor, “éste es Mi pacto con ellos ”: “Mi Espíritu que está sobre ti, y Mis palabras que he puesto en tu boca, no se apartarán de tu boca, ni de la boca de tu descendencia, ni de la boca de la descendencia de tu descendencia,” dice el Señor, “desde ahora y para siempre.”

“As for Me,” says the Lord, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the Lord, “from this time and forevermore.”
