1 L a mano del Señor vino sobre mí, y me sacó en el Espíritu del Señor, y me puso en medio del valle que estaba lleno de huesos.

The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.

2 E l me hizo pasar en derredor de ellos, y vi que eran muchísimos sobre la superficie del valle; y estaban muy secos.

Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry.

3 Y me preguntó: “Hijo de hombre, ¿vivirán estos huesos?” Y yo respondí: “Señor Dios, Tú lo sabes.”

And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”

4 E ntonces me dijo: “Profetiza sobre estos huesos, y diles: ‘Huesos secos, oigan la palabra del Señor.’

Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!

5 “ Así dice el Señor Dios a estos huesos: ‘Voy a hacer que en ustedes entre espíritu, y vivirán.

Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.

6 Y pondré tendones sobre ustedes, haré crecer carne sobre ustedes, los cubriré de piel y pondré espíritu en ustedes, y vivirán; y sabrán que Yo soy el Señor.’”

I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”’”

7 P rofeticé, pues, como me fue mandado; y mientras yo profetizaba hubo un ruido, y luego un estremecimiento, y los huesos se juntaron cada hueso con su hueso.

So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.

8 Y miré que había tendones sobre ellos, creció la carne y la piel los cubrió, pero no había espíritu en ellos.

Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.

9 E ntonces El me dijo: “Profetiza al espíritu, profetiza, hijo de hombre, y dile al espíritu: ‘Así dice el Señor Dios: “Ven de los cuatro vientos, oh espíritu, y sopla sobre estos muertos, y vivirán.”’”

Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’”

10 Y profeticé como El me había ordenado, y el espíritu entró en ellos, y vivieron y se pusieron en pie, un enorme e inmenso ejército.

So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.

11 E ntonces El me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, estos huesos son toda la casa de Israel. Ellos dicen: ‘Nuestros huesos se han secado, y nuestra esperanza ha perecido. Estamos completamente destruidos.’

Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’

12 P or tanto, profetiza, y diles: ‘Así dice el Señor Dios: “Voy a abrir sus sepulcros y los haré subir de sus sepulcros, pueblo Mío, y los llevaré a la tierra de Israel.

Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

13 Y sabrán que Yo soy el Señor, cuando abra sus sepulcros y los haga subir a ustedes de sus sepulcros, pueblo Mío.

Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves.

14 P ondré Mi Espíritu en ustedes, y vivirán, y los estableceré en su tierra. Entonces sabrán que Yo, el Señor, he hablado y lo he hecho,” declara el Señor.’”

I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it, ” says the Lord.’” One Kingdom, One King

15 Y vino a mí la palabra del Señor:

Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

16 “ Tú, hijo de hombre, toma una vara y escribe en ella: ‘Para Judá y para los Israelitas, sus compañeros.’ Toma luego otra vara y escribe en ella: ‘Para José, la vara de Efraín, y para toda la casa de Israel, sus compañeros.’

“As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’

17 J úntalas la una con la otra en una sola vara para que sean una sola en tu mano.

Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.

18 Y cuando los hijos de tu pueblo te pregunten: ‘¿No nos explicarás qué quieres decir con esto ?’

“And when the children of your people speak to you, saying, ‘Will you not show us what you mean by these?’—

19 d iles: ‘Así dice el Señor Dios: “Voy a tomar la vara de José, que está en la mano de Efraín, y las tribus de Israel, sus compañeros; las pondré con aquélla, con la vara de Judá, y las haré una sola vara, y serán una en Mi mano.”’

say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will join them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand.”’

20 “ Las varas en que escribas estarán en tu mano a la vista de ellos,

And the sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.

21 y diles: ‘Así dice el Señor Dios: “Voy a tomar a los Israelitas de entre las naciones adonde han ido, los recogeré de todas partes y los traeré a su propia tierra.

“Then say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land;

22 Y haré de ellos una nación en la tierra, en los montes de Israel; un solo rey será rey de todos ellos; nunca más serán dos naciones, y nunca más serán divididos en dos reinos.

and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again.

23 N o se contaminarán más con sus ídolos, ni con sus abominaciones, ni con ninguna de sus transgresiones; sino que los libraré de todos los lugares en que pecaron y los limpiaré. Y ellos serán Mi pueblo y Yo seré su Dios.

They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

24 M i siervo David será rey sobre ellos, y todos ellos tendrán un solo pastor; andarán en Mis ordenanzas y guardarán Mis estatutos y los cumplirán.

“David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them.

25 H abitarán en la tierra que di a Mi siervo Jacob, en la cual habitaron sus padres; en ella habitarán ellos y sus hijos, y los hijos de sus hijos para siempre; y Mi siervo David será su príncipe para siempre.

Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children’s children, forever; and My servant David shall be their prince forever.

26 H aré con ellos un pacto de paz; será un pacto eterno con ellos. Y los estableceré, los multiplicaré y pondré Mi santuario en medio de ellos para siempre.

Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary in their midst forevermore.

27 M i morada estará también junto a ellos, y Yo seré su Dios y ellos serán Mi pueblo.

My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

28 Y las naciones sabrán que Yo, el Señor, santifico a Israel, cuando Mi santuario esté en medio de ellos para siempre.”’”

The nations also will know that I, the Lord, sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forevermore.”’”
