1 “ Now these are the names of the tribes: from the northern extremity, beside the way of Hethlon to Lebo-hamath, as far as Hazar-enan at the border of Damascus, toward the north beside Hamath, running from east to west, Dan, one portion.

Éstos son los nombres de las tribus: Dan tendrá una parte desde el lado oriental hasta el occidental, del extremo norte, por la vía de Jetlón en dirección a Jamat, Jasar Enán, en los confines de Damasco, al norte, hacia Jamat.

2 B eside the border of Dan, from the east side to the west side, Asher, one portion.

Aser tendrá una parte junto a la frontera de Dan, desde el lado oriental hasta la costa del mar.

3 B eside the border of Asher, from the east side to the west side, Naphtali, one portion.

Neftalí tendrá su parte junto al límite de Aser, desde el lado oriental hasta la costa del mar.

4 B eside the border of Naphtali, from the east side to the west side, Manasseh, one portion.

Manasés tendrá su parte junto al límite de Neftalí, desde el lado oriental hasta la costa del mar.

5 B eside the border of Manasseh, from the east side to the west side, Ephraim, one portion.

Efraín tendrá su parte junto al límite de Manasés, desde el lado oriental hasta la costa del mar.

6 B eside the border of Ephraim, from the east side to the west side, Reuben, one portion.

Rubén tendrá su parte junto al límite de Efraín, desde el lado oriental hasta la costa del mar.

7 B eside the border of Reuben, from the east side to the west side, Judah, one portion.

Judá tendrá su parte junto al límite de Rubén, desde el lado oriental hasta la costa del mar.

8 “ And beside the border of Judah, from the east side to the west side, shall be the allotment which you shall set apart, 25, 000 cubits in width, and in length like one of the portions, from the east side to the west side; and the sanctuary shall be in the middle of it.

Junto al límite de Judá, desde el lado oriental hasta la costa del mar, estará la porción que reservarán de veinticinco mil cañas de ancho, y de largo como cualquiera de las otras partes, es decir, desde el lado oriental hasta la costa del mar. En medio de ella estará el santuario.

9 T he allotment that you shall set apart to the Lord shall be 25, 000 cubits in length and 10, 000 in width. Portion for the Priests

La porción que ustedes reservarán para el Señor tendrá veinticinco mil cañas de largo y diez mil cañas de ancho.

10 T he holy allotment shall be for these, namely for the priests, toward the north 25, 000 cubits in length, toward the west 10, 000 in width, toward the east 10, 000 in width, and toward the south 25, 000 in length; and the sanctuary of the Lord shall be in its midst.

La porción consagrada a los sacerdotes será de veinticinco mil cañas al norte, de diez mil cañas de ancho al occidente, de diez mil cañas de ancho al oriente, y de veinticinco mil cañas de largo al sur; en medio de ella estará el santuario del Señor.

11 I t shall be for the priests who are sanctified of the sons of Zadok, who have kept My charge, who did not go astray when the sons of Israel went astray as the Levites went astray.

Los sacerdotes consagrados de los hijos de Sadoc que me han sido fieles y no erraron como los levitas, cuando erraron los hijos de Israel,

12 I t shall be an allotment to them from the allotment of the land, a most holy place, by the border of the Levites.

tendrán como porción santísima la porción de tierra reservada junto al límite de la porción de los levitas.

13 A longside the border of the priests the Levites shall have 25, 000 cubits in length and 10, 000 in width. The whole length shall be 25, 000 cubits and the width 10, 000.

Y la porción de los levitas, al lado de los límites de la porción de los sacerdotes, será de veinticinco mil cañas de largo por diez mil cañas de ancho; todo el largo será de veinticinco mil cañas, y el ancho será de diez mil.

14 M oreover, they shall not sell or exchange any of it, or alienate this choice portion of land; for it is holy to the Lord.

De esa porción no venderán nada, ni la permutarán, ni traspasarán las primicias de la tierra; porque es una porción consagrada al Señor.

15 “ The remainder, 5, 000 cubits in width and 25, 000 in length, shall be for common use for the city, for dwellings and for open spaces; and the city shall be in its midst.

Las cinco mil cañas de ancho que quedan de las veinticinco mil, serán profanas, para uso de la ciudad, para habitación y para ejido; y en medio estará la ciudad.

16 T hese shall be its measurements: the north side 4, 500 cubits, the south side 4, 500 cubits, the east side 4, 500 cubits, and the west side 4, 500 cubits.

Éstas serán sus medidas: por el lado norte, cuatro mil quinientas cañas; por el lado sur, cuatro mil quinientas cañas; por el lado oriental, cuatro mil quinientas cañas; y por el lado occidental, cuatro mil quinientas cañas.

17 T he city shall have open spaces: on the north 250 cubits, on the south 250 cubits, on the east 250 cubits, and on the west 250 cubits.

Al norte, el ejido de la ciudad será de doscientas cincuenta cañas; al sur, de doscientas cincuenta cañas; al oriente, de doscientas cincuenta cañas; y al occidente, de doscientas cincuenta cañas.

18 T he remainder of the length alongside the holy allotment shall be 10, 000 cubits toward the east and 10, 000 toward the west; and it shall be alongside the holy allotment. And its produce shall be food for the workers of the city.

Y lo que quede de lo largo delante de la porción santa, es decir, las diez mil cañas al oriente y diez mil al occidente que quedarán de la porción santa, será para que siembren allí los que sirvan a la ciudad.

19 T he workers of the city, out of all the tribes of Israel, shall cultivate it.

Y los que sirvan a la ciudad serán de todas las tribus de Israel.

20 T he whole allotment shall be 25, 000 by 25, 000 cubits; you shall set apart the holy allotment, a square, with the property of the city. Portion for the Prince

Toda la porción cuadrada reservada de veinticinco mil cañas por cada lado, la reservarán ustedes como porción para el santuario y como propiedad de la ciudad.

21 “ The remainder shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy allotment and of the property of the city; in front of the 25, 000 cubits of the allotment toward the east border and westward in front of the 25, 000 toward the west border, alongside the portions, it shall be for the prince. And the holy allotment and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the middle of it.

Para el príncipe será lo que quede a uno y otro lado de la porción santa y de la propiedad de la ciudad, es decir, delante de las veinticinco mil cañas de la porción hasta el límite oriental, y al occidente delante de las veinticinco mil hasta el límite occidental. Estas partes mencionadas serán del príncipe; serán una porción consagrada, y el santuario del templo estará en medio de ella.

22 E xclusive of the property of the Levites and the property of the city, which are in the middle of that which belongs to the prince, everything between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin shall be for the prince. Portion for Other Tribes

De este modo la porción del príncipe será la comprendida a partir de la porción de los levitas y la porción de la ciudad, entre el límite de Judá y el límite de Benjamín.

23 “ As for the rest of the tribes: from the east side to the west side, Benjamin, one portion.

En cuanto a las demás tribus, Benjamín tendrá una porción desde el lado oriental hasta la costa del mar.

24 B eside the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west side, Simeon, one portion.

Simeón tendrá otra porción junto al límite de Benjamín, desde el lado oriental hasta la costa del mar.

25 B eside the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west side, Issachar, one portion.

Isacar tendrá otra porción junto al límite de Simeón, desde el lado oriental hasta la costa del mar.

26 B eside the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, Zebulun, one portion.

Zabulón tendrá otra porción junto al límite de Isacar, desde el lado oriental hasta la costa del mar.

27 B eside the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west side, Gad, one portion.

Gad tendrá otra porción junto al límite de Zabulón, desde el lado oriental hasta la costa del mar.

28 A nd beside the border of Gad, at the south side toward the south, the border shall be from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the brook of Egypt, to the Great Sea.

Junto al límite de Gad, por el lado sur, el límite será desde Tamar hasta las aguas de Meriba, y desde Cades y el arroyo hasta el Mar Grande.

29 T his is the land which you shall divide by lot to the tribes of Israel for an inheritance, and these are their several portions,” declares the Lord God. The City Gates

Ésta es la tierra que ustedes repartirán por sorteo como herencia de las tribus de Israel, y éstas son sus porciones. Palabra de Dios el Señor.

30 “ These are the exits of the city: on the north side, 4, 500 cubits by measurement,

Éstas son las salidas de la ciudad: Por el lado norte, la medida será de cuatro mil quinientas cañas.

31 s hall be the gates of the city, named for the tribes of Israel, three gates toward the north: the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one.

Las puertas de la ciudad serán las mismas que los nombres de las tribus de Israel. Las tres puertas al norte serán las puertas de Rubén, Judá y Leví.

32 O n the east side, 4, 500 cubits, shall be three gates: the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one.

Por el lado oriental medirá cuatro mil quinientas cañas, con tres puertas: la de José, la de Benjamín y la de Dan.

33 O n the south side, 4, 500 cubits by measurement, shall be three gates: the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; the gate of Zebulun, one.

Por el lado sur, medirá cuatro mil quinientas cañas, con tres puertas: la de Simeón, la de Isacar, y la de Zabulón.

34 O n the west side, 4, 500 cubits, shall be three gates: the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one.

Por el lado occidental, medirá cuatro mil quinientas cañas, con tres puertas: la de Gad, la de Aser, y la de Neftalí.

35 T he city shall be 18, 000 cubits round about; and the name of the city from that day shall be, ‘ The Lord is there.’”

Alrededor medirá dieciocho mil cañas, y a partir de ese día el nombre de la ciudad será «El Señor está allí».
