1 П салом Давидів. Пісня освячення дому. (30-2) Буду тебе величати, о Господи, бо Ти з глибини мене витяг, і не потішив моїх ворогів ради мене!

I will extol thee, Jehovah; for thou hast delivered me, and hast not made mine enemies to rejoice over me.

2 ( 30-3) Господи, Боже мій, я кликав до Тебе, і мене вздоровив Ти.

Jehovah my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

3 ( 30-4) Господи, вивів Ти душу мою із шеолу, Ти мене оживив, щоб в могилу не сходити мені!

Jehovah, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol, thou hast quickened me from among those that go down to the pit.

4 ( 30-5) Співайте Господеві, святії Його, й славте пам'ять святині Його!

Sing psalms unto Jehovah, ye saints of his, and give thanks in remembrance of his holiness.

5 ( 30-6) Бо хвилю триває Він у гніві Своїм, все життя в Своїй ласці: буває увечорі плач, а радість на ранок!

For a moment in his anger, a life in his favour; at even weeping cometh for the night, and at morn there is rejoicing.

6 ( 30-7) А я говорив був у мирі своєму: Я не захитаюсь навіки!

As for me, I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved.

7 ( 30-8) Господи, в ласці Своїй Ти поставив мене на горі моїх сил. Як лице Своє Ти заховав, то збентежився я.

Jehovah, by thy favour thou hadst made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face; I was troubled.

8 ( 30-9) До Тебе я кличу, о Господи, і благаю я Господа:

I called to thee, Jehovah, and unto the Lord did I make supplication:

9 ( 30-10) Яка користь із крови моєї, коли я до гробу зійду? Чи хвалити Тебе буде порох? Чи він виявить правду Твою?

What profit is there in my blood, in my going down to the pit? shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

10 ( 30-11) Почуй, Господи, і помилуй мене, Господи, будь мені помічником!

Hear, O Jehovah, and be gracious unto me; Jehovah, be my helper.

11 ( 30-12) Ти перемінив мені плач мій на радість, жалобу мою розв'язав, і підперезав мене радістю,

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; thou hast loosed my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12 ( 30-13) щоб славу співала людина Тобі й не замовкла! Господи, Боже мій, повік славити буду Тебе!

That glory may sing psalms of thee, and not be silent. Jehovah my God, I will praise thee for ever.
