1 E stas são as jornadas dos israelitas quando saíram do Egito, organizados segundo as suas divisões, sob a liderança de Moisés e Arão.

These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

2 P or ordem do Senhor Moisés registrou as etapas da jornada deles. Esta foi a jornada deles, por etapas:

And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the Lord: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.

3 O s israelitas partiram de Ramessés no décimo quinto dia do primeiro mês, no dia seguinte ao da Páscoa. Saíram, marchando desafiadoramente à vista de todos os egípcios,

And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.

4 e nquanto estes sepultavam o primeiro filho de cada um deles, que o Senhor matou. O Senhor impôs castigo aos seus deuses.

For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the Lord had smitten among them: upon their gods also the Lord executed judgments.

5 O s israelitas partiram de Ramessés e acamparam em Sucote.

And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.

6 P artiram de Sucote e acamparam em Etã, nos limites do deserto.

And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.

7 P artiram de Etã, voltaram para Pi-Hairote, a leste de Baal-Zefom, e acamparam perto de Migdol.

And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pi-hahiroth, which is before Baal-zephon: and they pitched before Migdol.

8 P artiram de Pi-Hairote e atravessaram o mar, chegando ao deserto, e, depois de viajarem três dias no deserto de Etã, acamparam em Mara.

And they departed from before Pi-hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.

9 P artiram de Mara e foram para Elim, onde havia doze fontes e setenta palmeiras, e acamparam ali.

And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.

10 P artiram de Elim e acamparam junto ao mar Vermelho.

And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.

11 P artiram do mar Vermelho e acamparam no deserto de Sim.

And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.

12 P artiram do deserto de Sim e acamparam em Dofca.

And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.

13 P artiram de Dofca e acamparam em Alus.

And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.

14 P artiram de Alus e acamparam em Refidim, onde não havia água para o povo beber.

And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.

15 P artiram de Refidim e acamparam no deserto do Sinai.

And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.

16 P artiram do deserto do Sinai e acamparam em Quibrote-Hataavá.

And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibroth-hattaavah.

17 P artiram de Quibrote-Hataavá e acamparam em Hazerote.

And they departed from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.

18 P artiram de Hazerote e acamparam em Ritmá.

And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.

19 P artiram de Ritmá e acamparam em Rimom-Perez.

And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmon-parez.

20 P artiram de Rimom-Perez e acamparam em Libna.

And they departed from Rimmon-parez, and pitched in Libnah.

21 P artiram de Libna e acamparam em Rissa.

And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.

22 P artiram de Rissa e acamparam em Queelata.

And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.

23 P artiram de Queelata e acamparam no monte Séfer.

And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.

24 P artiram do monte Séfer e acamparam em Harada.

And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.

25 P artiram de Harada e acamparam em Maquelote.

And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.

26 P artiram de Maquelote e acamparam em Taate.

And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.

27 P artiram de Taate e acamparam em Terá.

And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.

28 P artiram de Terá e acamparam em Mitca.

And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.

29 P artiram de Mitca e acamparam em Hasmona.

And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.

30 P artiram de Hasmona e acamparam em Moserote.

And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.

31 P artiram de Moserote e acamparam em Bene-Jaacã.

And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Bene-jaakan.

32 P artiram de Bene-Jaacã e acamparam em Hor-Gidgade.

And they removed from Bene-jaakan, and encamped at Hor-hagidgad.

33 P artiram de Hor-Gidgade e acamparam em Jotbatá.

And they went from Hor-hagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.

34 P artiram de Jotbatá e acamparam em Abrona.

And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.

35 P artiram de Abrona e acamparam em Eziom-Geber.

And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Ezion-gaber.

36 P artiram de Eziom-Geber e acamparam em Cades, no deserto de Zim.

And they removed from Ezion-gaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.

37 P artiram de Cades e acamparam no monte Hor, na fronteira de Edom.

And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.

38 P or ordem do Senhor, o sacerdote Arão subiu o monte Hor, onde morreu no primeiro dia do quinto mês do quadragésimo ano depois que os israelitas saíram do Egito.

And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the Lord, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.

39 A rão tinha cento e vinte e três anos de idade quando morreu no monte Hor.

And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.

40 O rei cananeu de Arade, que vivia no Neguebe, na terra de Canaã, soube que os israelitas estavam chegando.

And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

41 E les partiram do monte Hor e acamparam em Zalmona.

And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.

42 P artiram de Zalmona e acamparam em Punom.

And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.

43 P artiram de Punom e acamparam em Obote.

And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.

44 P artiram de Obote e acamparam em Ijé-Abarim, na fronteira de Moabe.

And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ije-abarim, in the border of Moab.

45 P artiram de Ijim e acamparam em Dibom-Gade.

And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibon-gad.

46 P artiram de Dibom-Gade e acamparam em Almom-Diblataim.

And they removed from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.

47 P artiram de Almom-Diblataim e acamparam nos montes de Abarim, defronte de Nebo.

And they removed from Almon-diblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.

48 P artiram dos montes de Abarim e acamparam nas campinas de Moabe junto ao Jordão, frente a Jericó.

And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.

49 N as campinas de Moabe eles acamparam junto ao Jordão, desde Bete-Jesimote até Abel-Sitim. As Normas para a Ocupação e Distribuição de Canaã

And they pitched by Jordan, from Beth-jesimoth even unto Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.

50 N as campinas de Moabe, junto ao Jordão, frente a Jericó, o Senhor disse a Moisés:

And the Lord spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,

51 “ Diga aos israelitas: Quando vocês atravessarem o Jordão para entrar em Canaã,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;

52 e xpulsem da frente de vocês todos os habitantes da terra. Destruam todas as imagens esculpidas e todos os ídolos fundidos, e derrubem todos os altares idólatras deles.

then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:

53 A poderem-se da terra e instalem-se nela, pois eu lhes dei a terra para que dela tomem posse.

and ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.

54 D istribuam a terra por sorteio, de acordo com os seus clãs. Aos clãs maiores vocês darão uma herança maior, e aos menores, uma herança menor. Cada clã receberá a terra que lhe cair por sorte. Distribuam-na entre as tribos dos seus antepassados.

And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.

55 “ Se, contudo, vocês não expulsarem os habitantes da terra, aqueles que vocês permitirem ficar se tornarão farpas em seus olhos e espinhos em suas costas. Eles lhes causarão problemas na terra em que vocês irão morar.

But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.

56 E ntão farei a vocês o mesmo que planejo fazer a eles”.

Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
