1 D isse o Senhor a Moisés e a Arão:

And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron, saying,

2 “ Quando alguém tiver um inchaço, uma erupção ou uma mancha brilhante na pele que possa ser sinal de lepra, será levado ao sacerdote Arão ou a um dos seus filhos que seja sacerdote.

When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:

3 E ste examinará a parte afetada da pele, e, se naquela parte o pêlo tiver se tornado branco e o lugar parecer mais profundo do que a pele, é sinal de lepra. Depois de examiná-lo, o sacerdote o declarará impuro.

and the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.

4 S e a mancha na pele for branca, mas não parecer mais profunda do que a pele e sobre ela o pêlo não tiver se tornado branco, o sacerdote o porá em isolamento por sete dias.

If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:

5 N o sétimo dia o sacerdote o examinará e, se verificar que a parte afetada não se alterou nem se espalhou pela pele, o manterá em isolamento por mais sete dias.

and the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:

6 A o sétimo dia o sacerdote o examinará de novo e, se a parte afetada diminuiu e não se espalhou pela pele, o sacerdote o declarará puro; é apenas uma erupção. Então ele lavará as suas roupas, e estará puro.

and the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

7 M as, se depois que se apresentou ao sacerdote para ser declarado puro a erupção se espalhar pela pele, ele terá que se apresentar novamente ao sacerdote.

But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he hath been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen of the priest again:

8 O sacerdote o examinará e, se a erupção espalhou-se pela pele, ele o declarará impuro; trata-se de lepra.

and if the priest see that, behold, the scab spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy.

9 “ Quando alguém apresentar sinal de lepra, será levado ao sacerdote.

When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;

10 E ste o examinará e, se houver inchaço branco na pele, o qual tornou branco o pêlo, e se houver carne viva no inchaço,

and the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the rising be white in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising;

11 é lepra crônica na pele, e o sacerdote o declarará impuro. Não o porá em isolamento, porquanto já está impuro.

it is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.

12 “ Se a doença se alastrar e cobrir toda a pele da pessoa infectada, da cabeça aos pés, até onde é possível ao sacerdote verificar,

And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;

13 e ste a examinará e, se observar que a lepra cobriu todo o corpo, ele a declarará pura. Visto que tudo ficou branco, ela está pura.

then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.

14 M as quando nela aparecer carne viva, ficará impura.

But when raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.

15 Q uando o sacerdote vir a carne viva, ele a declarará impura. A carne viva é impura; trata-se de lepra.

And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.

16 S e a carne viva retroceder e a pele se tornar branca, a pessoa voltará ao sacerdote.

Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, he shall come unto the priest;

17 E ste a examinará e, se a parte afetada se tornou branca, o sacerdote declarará pura a pessoa infectada, a qual então estará pura.

and the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.

18 “ Quando alguém tiver uma ferida purulenta em sua pele e ela sarar,

The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,

19 e no lugar da ferida aparecer um inchaço branco ou uma mancha avermelhada, ele se apresentará ao sacerdote.

and in the place of the boil there be a white rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be shewed to the priest;

20 E ste examinará o local e, se parecer mais profundo do que a pele e o pêlo ali tiver se tornado branco, o sacerdote o declarará impuro. É sinal de lepra que se alastrou onde estava a ferida.

and if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it be in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.

21 M as se, quando o sacerdote o examinar não houver nenhum pêlo branco e o lugar não estiver mais profundo do que a pele e tiver diminuído, então o sacerdote o porá em isolamento por sete dias.

But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

22 S e de fato estiver se espalhando pela pele, o sacerdote o declarará impuro; é sinal de lepra.

and if it spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.

23 M as, se a mancha não tiver se alterado nem se espalhado, é apenas a cicatriz da ferida, e o sacerdote o declarará puro.

But if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

24 “ Quando alguém tiver uma queimadura na pele, e uma mancha avermelhada ou branca aparecer na carne viva da queimadura,

Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burneth have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;

25 o sacerdote examinará a mancha e, se o pêlo sobre ela tiver se tornado branco e ela parecer mais profunda do que a pele, é lepra que surgiu na queimadura. O sacerdote o declarará impuro; é sinal de lepra na pele.

then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

26 M as, se o sacerdote examinar a mancha e nela não houver pêlo branco e esta não estiver mais profunda do que a pele e tiver diminuído, então o sacerdote o porá em isolamento por sete dias.

But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

27 N o sétimo dia o sacerdote o examinará e, se a mancha tiver se espalhado pela pele, o sacerdote o declarará impuro; é sinal de lepra.

and the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

28 S e, todavia, a mancha não tiver se alterado nem se espalhado pela pele, mas tiver diminuído, é um inchaço da queimadura, e o sacerdote o declarará puro; é apenas a cicatriz da queimadura.

And if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning.

29 “ Quando um homem ou uma mulher tiver uma ferida na cabeça ou no queixo,

If a man or woman have a plague upon the head or the beard;

30 o sacerdote examinará a ferida e, se ela parecer mais profunda do que a pele e o pêlo nela for amarelado e fino, o sacerdote declarará impura aquela pessoa; é sarna, isto é, lepra da cabeça ou do queixo.

then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.

31 M as se, quando o sacerdote examinar o sinal de sarna este não parecer mais profundo do que a pele e não houver pêlo escuro nela, então o sacerdote porá a pessoa infectada em isolamento por sete dias.

And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:

32 N o sétimo dia o sacerdote examinará a parte afetada e, se a sarna não tiver se espalhado e não houver pêlo amarelado nela e não parecer mais profunda do que a pele,

and in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scall be not in sight deeper than the skin;

33 a pessoa rapará os pêlos, exceto na parte afetada, e o sacerdote a porá em isolamento por mais sete dias.

he shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:

34 N o sétimo dia o sacerdote examinará a sarna e, se não tiver se espalhado mais e não parecer mais profunda do que a pele, o sacerdote declarará pura a pessoa. Esta lavará suas roupas e estará pura.

and in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

35 M as, se a sarna se espalhar pela pele depois que a pessoa for declarada pura,

But if the scall spread much in the skin after his cleansing;

36 o sacerdote a examinará e, se a sarna tiver se espalhado pela pele, o sacerdote não precisará procurar pêlo amarelado; a pessoa está impura.

then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.

37 S e, entretanto, verificar que não houve alteração e cresceu pêlo escuro, a sarna está curada. A pessoa está pura, e o sacerdote a declarará pura.

But if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

38 “ Quando um homem ou uma mulher tiver manchas brancas na pele,

If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;

39 o sacerdote examinará as manchas; se forem brancas e sem brilho, é um eczema que se alastrou; essa pessoa está pura.

then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.

40 “ Quando os cabelos de um homem caírem, ele está calvo, todavia puro.

And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.

41 S e lhe caírem os cabelos da frente da cabeça, ele está meio-calvo, porém puro.

And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.

42 M as, se tiver uma ferida avermelhada na parte calva da frente ou de trás da cabeça, é lepra que se alastra pela calva da frente ou de trás da cabeça.

And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

43 O sacerdote o examinará e, se a ferida inchada na parte da frente ou de trás da calva for avermelhada como a lepra de pele,

Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;

44 o homem está leproso e impuro. O sacerdote terá que declará-lo impuro devido à ferida na cabeça.

he is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.

45 “ Quem ficar leproso, apresentando quaisquer desses sintomas, usará roupas rasgadas, andará descabelado, cobrirá a parte inferior do rosto e gritará: ‘Impuro! Impuro!’

And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.

46 E nquanto tiver a doença, estará impuro. Viverá separado, fora do acampamento. A Lei acerca do Mofo

All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.

47 “ Quando aparecer mancha de mofo em alguma roupa, seja de lã, seja de linho,

The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;

48 o u em qualquer peça tecida ou entrelaçada de linho ou de lã, ou em algum pedaço ou objeto de couro,

whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;

49 s e a mancha na roupa, ou no pedaço de couro, ou na peça tecida ou entrelaçada, ou em qualquer objeto de couro, for esverdeada ou avermelhada, é mancha de mofo que deverá ser mostrada ao sacerdote.

and if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest:

50 O sacerdote examinará a mancha e isolará o objeto afetado por sete dias.

and the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up it that hath the plague seven days:

51 N o sétimo dia examinará a mancha e, se ela tiver se espalhado pela roupa, ou pela peça tecida ou entrelaçada, ou pelo pedaço de couro, qualquer que seja o seu uso, é mofo corrosivo; o objeto está impuro.

and he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.

52 E le queimará a roupa, ou a peça tecida ou entrelaçada, ou qualquer objeto de couro que tiver a mancha, pois é mofo corrosivo; o objeto será queimado.

He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.

53 “ Mas se, quando o sacerdote o examinar, a mancha não tiver se espalhado pela roupa, ou pela peça tecida ou entrelaçada, ou pelo objeto de couro,

And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;

54 o rdenará que o objeto afetado seja lavado. Então ele o isolará por mais sete dias.

then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:

55 D epois de lavado o objeto afetado, o sacerdote o examinará e, se a mancha não tiver alterado sua cor, ainda que não tenha se espalhado, o objeto estará impuro. Queime-o com fogo, quer o mofo corrosivo tenha afetado um lado, quer o outro do objeto.

and the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his colour, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.

56 S e, quando o sacerdote o examinar, a mancha tiver diminuído depois de lavado o objeto, ele cortará a parte afetada da roupa, ou do pedaço de couro, ou da peça tecida ou entrelaçada.

And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:

57 M as, se a mancha ainda aparecer na roupa, ou na peça tecida ou entrelaçada, ou no objeto de couro, é mofo que se alastra, e tudo o que tiver o mofo será queimado com fogo.

and if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.

58 M as se, depois de lavada, a mancha desaparecer da roupa, ou da peça tecida ou entrelaçada, ou do objeto de couro, o objeto afetado será lavado de novo, e então estará puro”.

And the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.

59 E ssa é a regulamentação acerca da mancha de mofo nas roupas de lã ou de linho, nas peças tecidas ou entrelaçadas, ou nos objetos de couro, para que sejam declarados puros ou impuros.

This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
