1 E stas son las jornadas de los Israelitas, que salieron de la tierra de Egipto por sus ejércitos, bajo la dirección de Moisés y Aarón.

These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

2 M oisés anotó los puntos de partida según sus jornadas, por el mandamiento del Señor, y éstas son sus jornadas, conforme a sus puntos de partida.

And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the Lord: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.

3 E l mes primero salieron de Ramsés el día quince del mes primero; el día después de la Pascua, los Israelitas marcharon con mano poderosa a la vista de todos los Egipcios,

And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.

4 m ientras los Egipcios sepultaban a todos sus primogénitos, a quienes el Señor había herido entre ellos. El Señor también había ejecutado juicios contra sus dioses.

For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the Lord had smitten among them: upon their gods also the Lord executed judgments.

5 E ntonces los Israelitas salieron de Ramsés y acamparon en Sucot.

And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.

6 S alieron de Sucot y acamparon en Etam, que está en el extremo del desierto.

And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.

7 S alieron de Etam, se volvieron a Pi Hahirot, frente a Baal Zefón, y acamparon delante de Migdol.

And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pi-hahiroth, which is before Baal-zephon: and they pitched before Migdol.

8 S alieron de delante de Hahirot y cruzaron por en medio del mar hasta el desierto; y anduvieron tres días en el desierto de Etam y acamparon en Mara.

And they departed from before Pi-hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.

9 S alieron de Mara y llegaron a Elim; y en Elim había doce fuentes de agua y setenta palmeras; y acamparon allí.

And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.

10 S alieron de Elim y acamparon junto al Mar Rojo.

And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.

11 S alieron del Mar Rojo y acamparon en el desierto de Sin.

And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.

12 S alieron del desierto de Sin y acamparon en Dofca.

And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.

13 S alieron de Dofca y acamparon en Alús.

And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.

14 S alieron de Alús y acamparon en Refidim; allí fue donde el pueblo no tuvo agua para beber.

And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.

15 S alieron de Refidim y acamparon en el desierto de Sinaí.

And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.

16 S alieron del desierto de Sinaí y acamparon en Kibrot Hataava.

And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibroth-hattaavah.

17 S alieron de Kibrot Hataava y acamparon en Hazerot.

And they departed from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.

18 S alieron de Hazerot y acamparon en Ritma.

And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.

19 S alieron de Ritma y acamparon en Rimón Peres.

And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmon-parez.

20 S alieron de Rimón Peres y acamparon en Libna.

And they departed from Rimmon-parez, and pitched in Libnah.

21 S alieron de Libna y acamparon en Rissa.

And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.

22 S alieron de Rissa y acamparon en Ceelata.

And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.

23 S alieron de Ceelata y acamparon en el Monte Sefer.

And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.

24 S alieron del Monte Sefer y acamparon en Harada.

And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.

25 S alieron de Harada y acamparon en Macelot.

And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.

26 S alieron de Macelot y acamparon en Tahat.

And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.

27 S alieron de Tahat y acamparon en Tara.

And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.

28 S alieron de Tara y acamparon en Mitca.

And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.

29 S alieron de Mitca y acamparon en Hasmona.

And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.

30 S alieron de Hasmona y acamparon en Moserot.

And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.

31 S alieron de Moserot y acamparon en Bene Jaacán.

And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Bene-jaakan.

32 S alieron de Bene Jaacán y acamparon en Hor Haggidgad (el Monte de Gidgad).

And they removed from Bene-jaakan, and encamped at Hor-hagidgad.

33 S alieron de Hor Haggidgad y acamparon en Jotbata.

And they went from Hor-hagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.

34 S alieron de Jotbata y acamparon en Abrona.

And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.

35 S alieron de Abrona y acamparon en Ezión Geber.

And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Ezion-gaber.

36 S alieron de Ezión Geber y acamparon en el desierto de Zin, esto es, Cades.

And they removed from Ezion-gaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.

37 S alieron de Cades y acamparon en el Monte Hor, al extremo de la tierra de Edom.

And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.

38 E ntonces el sacerdote Aarón subió al Monte Hor por mandato del Señor, y allí murió, el año cuarenta después que los Israelitas habían salido de la tierra de Egipto, el primer día del mes quinto.

And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the Lord, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.

39 A arón tenía 123 años de edad cuando murió en el Monte Hor.

And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.

40 Y el Cananeo, el rey de Arad que habitaba en el Neguev (región del sur), en la tierra de Canaán, oyó de la llegada de los Israelitas.

And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

41 E ntonces partieron del Monte Hor y acamparon en Zalmona.

And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.

42 S alieron de Zalmona y acamparon en Punón.

And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.

43 S alieron de Punón y acamparon en Obot.

And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.

44 S alieron de Obot y acamparon en Ije Abarim, en la frontera con Moab.

And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ije-abarim, in the border of Moab.

45 S alieron de Ije Abarim y acamparon en Dibón Gad.

And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibon-gad.

46 S alieron de Dibón Gad y acamparon en Almón Diblataim.

And they removed from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.

47 S alieron de Almón Diblataim y acamparon en los montes de Abarim, frente a Nebo.

And they removed from Almon-diblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.

48 P artieron de los montes de Abarim y acamparon en las llanuras de Moab, junto al Jordán, frente a Jericó.

And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.

49 Y acamparon junto al Jordán, desde Bet Jesimot hasta Abel Sitim, en las llanuras de Moab.

And they pitched by Jordan, from Beth-jesimoth even unto Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.

50 E ntonces el Señor habló a Moisés en las llanuras de Moab, junto al Jordán, frente a Jericó:

And the Lord spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,

51 “ Habla a los Israelitas, y diles: ‘Cuando crucen el Jordán a la tierra de Canaán,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;

52 e xpulsarán a todos los habitantes de la tierra delante de ustedes, y destruirán todas sus piedras grabadas, y destruirán todas sus imágenes fundidas, y demolerán todos sus lugares altos;

then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:

53 y tomarán posesión de la tierra y habitarán en ella, porque les he dado la tierra para que la posean.

and ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.

54 H eredarán la tierra por sorteo, por sus familias; a las más grandes darán más heredad, y a las más pequeñas darán menos heredad. Donde la suerte caiga a cada uno, eso será suyo. Heredarán conforme a las tribus de sus padres.

And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.

55 P ero si no expulsan de delante de ustedes a los habitantes de la tierra, entonces sucederá que los que de ellos dejen serán como aguijones en sus ojos y como espinas en sus costados, y los hostigarán en la tierra en que habiten.

But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.

56 Y sucederá que como pensaba hacerles a ellos, así les haré a ustedes.’”

Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
