1 C uando Jesús salía del templo, uno de Sus discípulos Le dijo: “Maestro, ¡mira qué piedras y qué edificios!”

And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!

2 Y Jesús le dijo: “¿Ves estos grandes edificios? No quedará piedra sobre piedra que no sea derribada.” Señales antes del Fin

And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

3 Y estando El sentado en el Monte de los Olivos, frente al templo, Pedro, Jacobo (Santiago), Juan y Andrés Le preguntaban en privado:

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

4 “ Dinos, ¿cuándo sucederá esto, y qué señal habrá cuando todas estas cosas se hayan de cumplir?”

Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

5 Y Jesús comenzó a decirles: “Miren que nadie los engañe.

And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

6 M uchos vendrán en Mi nombre diciendo: ‘Yo soy el Cristo,’ y engañarán a muchos.

for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

7 C uando ustedes oigan de guerras y de rumores de guerras, no se alarmen; es necesario que todo esto suceda, pero todavía no es el fin.

And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

8 P orque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino; y habrá terremotos en diversos lugares; y habrá hambres. Esto sólo es el comienzo de dolores.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

9 “ Pero ustedes, estén alerta; porque los entregarán a los tribunales y serán azotados en las sinagogas, y comparecerán delante de gobernadores y reyes por Mi causa, para testimonio a ellos.

But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

10 P ero primero el evangelio debe ser predicado a todas las naciones.

And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

11 C uando los lleven y los entreguen, no se preocupen de antemano por lo que van a decir, sino que lo que les sea dado en aquella hora, eso hablen; porque no son ustedes los que hablan, sino el Espíritu Santo.

But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

12 E l hermano entregará a la muerte al hermano, y el padre al hijo; y los hijos se levantarán contra los padres, y les causarán la muerte.

Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

13 Y ustedes serán odiados de todos por causa de Mi nombre, pero el que persevere hasta el fin, ése será salvo. La Abominación de la Desolación

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 “ Pero cuando vean la abominacion de la desolacion puesta donde no debe estar (el que lea, que entienda), entonces los que estén en Judea huyan a los montes;

But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judæa flee to the mountains:

15 y el que esté en la azotea, no baje ni entre a sacar nada de su casa;

and let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

16 y el que esté en el campo, no vuelva a tomar su capa.

and let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.

17 P ero, ¡ay de las que estén encinta y de las que estén criando en aquellos días!

But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

18 O ren para que esto no suceda en el invierno.

And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.

19 P orque aquellos días serán de tribulación, tal como no ha acontecido desde el principio de la creación que hizo Dios hasta ahora, ni acontecerá jamás.

For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

20 S i el Señor no hubiera acortado aquellos días, nadie se salvaría; pero por causa de los escogidos que El eligió, acortó los días.

And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

21 E ntonces, si alguien les dice: ‘Miren, aquí está el Cristo (el Mesías),’ o: ‘Miren, allí está,’ no lo crean.

And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

22 P orque se levantarán falsos Cristos y falsos profetas, y mostrarán señales y prodigios a fin de extraviar, de ser posible, a los escogidos.

for false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

23 P ero ustedes, estén alerta; vean que se lo he dicho todo de antemano. La Venida del Hijo del Hombre

But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

24 “ Pero en aquellos días, después de esa tribulación, el sol se oscurecera y la luna no dara su luz,

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

25 l as estrellas iran cayendo del cielo y las potencias que están en los cielos serán sacudidas.

and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

26 E ntonces verán al Hijo del Hombre que viene en las nubes con gran poder y gloria.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

27 Y entonces El enviará a los ángeles, y reunirá a Sus escogidos de los cuatro vientos, desde el extremo de la tierra hasta el extremo del cielo. Parábola de la Higuera

And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

28 “ De la higuera aprendan la parábola: cuando su rama ya se pone tierna y echa las hojas, saben que el verano está cerca.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

29 A sí también ustedes, cuando vean que suceden estas cosas, sepan que El está cerca, a las puertas.

so ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

30 E n verdad les digo que no pasará esta generación hasta que todo esto suceda.

Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

31 E l cielo y la tierra pasarán, pero Mis palabras no pasarán.

Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

32 P ero de aquel día o de aquella hora nadie sabe, ni siquiera los ángeles en el cielo, ni el Hijo, sino sólo el Padre. Exhortación a Velar

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

33 “ Estén alerta, velen; porque no saben cuándo es el tiempo señalado.

Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

34 E s como un hombre que se fue de viaje, y al salir de su casa dejó a sus siervos encargados, asignándole a cada uno su tarea, y ordenó al portero que estuviera alerta.

For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

35 P or tanto, velen, porque no saben cuándo viene el señor de la casa, si al atardecer, o a la medianoche, o al canto del gallo, o al amanecer;

Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

36 n o sea que venga de repente y los halle dormidos.

lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

37 Y lo que a ustedes digo, a todos digo: ¡Velen!”

And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
