Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.

2 P erseveren en la oración, velando en ella con acción de gracias.

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

3 O ren al mismo tiempo también por nosotros, para que Dios nos abra una puerta para la palabra, a fin de dar a conocer el misterio de Cristo (el Mesías), por el cual también he sido encarcelado,

withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

4 p ara manifestarlo como debo hacerlo.

that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

5 A nden sabiamente para con los de afuera, aprovechando bien el tiempo.

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

6 Q ue su conversación sea siempre con gracia, sazonada como con sal, para que sepan cómo deben responder a cada persona. Asuntos Personales

Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

7 E n cuanto a todos mis asuntos, les informará Tíquico, nuestro amado hermano, fiel ministro y consiervo en el Señor.

All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:

8 P orque precisamente para esto lo he enviado a ustedes, para que sepan de nuestras circunstancias y que conforte sus corazones;

whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;

9 y con él a Onésimo, fiel y amado hermano, que es uno de ustedes. Ellos les informarán acerca de todo lo que aquí pasa. Saludos

with Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.

10 A ristarco, mi compañero de prisión, les envía saludos. También Marcos, el primo de Bernabé, (acerca del cual ustedes recibieron instrucciones. Si va a verlos, recíbanlo bien).

Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister’s son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)

11 T ambién Jesús, llamado Justo. Estos son los únicos colaboradores conmigo en el reino de Dios que son de la circuncisión, y ellos han resultado ser un estímulo para mí.

and Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.

12 E pafras, que es uno de ustedes, siervo de Jesucristo, les envía saludos, siempre esforzándose intensamente a favor de ustedes en sus oraciones, para que estén firmes, perfectos y completamente seguros en toda la voluntad de Dios.

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

13 P orque de él soy testigo de que tiene profundo interés por ustedes y por los que están en Laodicea y en Hierápolis.

For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.

14 L ucas, el médico amado, les envía saludos, y también Demas.

Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.

15 S aluden a los hermanos que están en Laodicea, también a Ninfas y a la iglesia que está en su casa.

Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.

16 C uando esta carta se haya leído entre ustedes, háganla leer también en la iglesia de los Laodicenses. Ustedes, por su parte, lean la carta que viene de Laodicea.

And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.

17 D íganle a Arquipo: “Cuida el ministerio que has recibido del Señor, para que lo cumplas.”

And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.
