Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.

Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.

3 D esde el nacimiento del sol hasta su ocaso, Alabado sea el nombre del Señor.

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.

4 E xcelso sobre todas las naciones es el Señor; Su gloria está sobre los cielos.

The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

5 ¿ Quién es como el Señor nuestro Dios, Que está sentado en las alturas,

Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,

6 Q ue se humilla para mirar Lo que hay en el cielo y en la tierra?

who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

7 E l levanta al pobre del polvo, Y al necesitado saca del muladar,

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

8 P ara sentar los con príncipes, Con los príncipes de Su pueblo.

that he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

9 H ace habitar en casa a la mujer estéril, Gozosa de ser madre de hijos. ¡Aleluya!

He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.
