1 C anto dei pellegrinaggi. Beato chiunque teme il Signore e cammina nelle sue vie!

Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.

2 A llora mangerai della fatica delle tue mani, sarai felice e prospererai.

For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

3 T ua moglie sarà come vigna fruttifera, nell’intimità della tua casa; i tuoi figli come piante d’olivo intorno alla tua tavola.

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

4 E cco, così sarà benedetto l’uomo che teme il Signore.

Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.

5 I l Signore ti benedica da Sion! Possa tu vedere la prosperità di Gerusalemme tutti i giorni della tua vita.

The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

6 P ossa tu vedere i figli dei tuoi figli. Pace sia sopra Israele.

Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.
