1 I n quel giorno dirai: «Io ti lodo, Signore! Infatti, dopo esserti adirato con me, la tua ira si è calmata e tu mi hai consolato.

And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

2 E cco, Dio è la mia salvezza; io avrò fiducia e non avrò paura di nulla, poiché il Signore, il Signore è la mia forza e il mio cantico; egli è stato la mia salvezza».

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

3 V oi attingerete con gioia l’acqua dalle fonti della salvezza,

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

4 e in quel giorno direte: «Lodate il Signore, invocate il suo nome, fate conoscere le sue opere tra i popoli, proclamate che il suo nome è eccelso!

And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

5 S almeggiate al Signore, perché ha fatto cose grandiose; siano esse note a tutta la terra!

Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

6 A bitante di Sion, grida, esulta, poiché il Santo d’Israele è grande in mezzo a te».

Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
