1 A nd going on board the ship, he passed over and came to his own city.

Тогда Он, войдя в лодку, переправился и прибыл в Свой город.

2 A nd behold, they brought to him a paralytic, laid upon a bed; and Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, Be of good courage, child; thy sins are forgiven.

И вот, принесли к Нему расслабленного, положенного на постели. И, видя Иисус веру их, сказал расслабленному: дерзай, чадо! прощаются тебе грехи твои.

3 A nd behold, certain of the scribes said to themselves, This blasphemes.

При сем некоторые из книжников сказали сами в себе: Он богохульствует.

4 A nd Jesus, seeing their thoughts, said, Why do ye think evil things in your hearts?

Иисус же, видя помышления их, сказал: для чего вы мыслите худое в сердцах ваших?

5 F or which is easier: to say, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Rise up and walk?

ибо что легче сказать: прощаются тебе грехи, или сказать: встань и ходи?

6 B ut that ye may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, (then he says to the paralytic,) Rise up, take up thy bed and go to thy house.

Но чтобы вы знали, что Сын Человеческий имеет власть на земле прощать грехи, --тогда говорит расслабленному: встань, возьми постель твою, и иди в дом твой.

7 A nd he rose up and went to his house.

И он встал, и пошел в дом свой.

8 B ut the crowds seeing, were in fear, and glorified God who gave such power to men.

Народ же, видев это, удивился и прославил Бога, давшего такую власть человекам.

9 A nd Jesus, passing on thence, saw a man sitting at the tax-office, called Matthew, and says to him, Follow me. And he rose up and followed him.

Проходя оттуда, Иисус увидел человека, сидящего у сбора пошлин, по имени Матфея, и говорит ему: следуй за Мною. И он встал и последовал за Ним.

10 A nd it came to pass, as he lay at table in the house, that behold, many tax-gatherers and sinners came and lay at table with Jesus and his disciples.

И когда Иисус возлежал в доме, многие мытари и грешники пришли и возлегли с Ним и учениками Его.

11 A nd the Pharisees seeing, said to his disciples, Why does your teacher eat with tax-gatherers and sinners?

Увидев то, фарисеи сказали ученикам Его: для чего Учитель ваш ест и пьет с мытарями и грешниками?

12 B ut hearing it, said, They that are strong have not need of a physician, but those that are ill.

Иисус же, услышав это, сказал им: не здоровые имеют нужду во враче, но больные,

13 B ut go and learn what is—I will have mercy and not sacrifice; for I have not come to call righteous but sinners.

пойдите, научитесь, что значит: милости хочу, а не жертвы? Ибо Я пришел призвать не праведников, но грешников к покаянию.

14 T hen come to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees often fast, but thy disciples fast not?

Тогда приходят к Нему ученики Иоанновы и говорят: почему мы и фарисеи постимся много, а Твои ученики не постятся?

15 A nd Jesus said to them, Can the sons of the bridechamber mourn so long as the bridegroom is with them? But days will come when the bridegroom will have been taken away from them, and then they will fast.

И сказал им Иисус: могут ли печалиться сыны чертога брачного, пока с ними жених? Но придут дни, когда отнимется у них жених, и тогда будут поститься.

16 B ut no one puts a patch of new cloth on an old garment, for its filling up takes from the garment and a worse rent takes place.

И никто к ветхой одежде не приставляет заплаты из небеленой ткани, ибо вновь пришитое отдерет от старого, и дыра будет еще хуже.

17 N or do men put new wine into old skins, otherwise the skins burst and the wine is poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into new skins, and both are preserved together.

Не вливают также вина молодого в мехи ветхие; а иначе прорываются мехи, и вино вытекает, и мехи пропадают, но вино молодое вливают в новые мехи, и сберегается то и другое.

18 A s he spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler coming in did homage to him, saying, My daughter has by this died; but come and lay thy hand upon her and she shall live.

Когда Он говорил им сие, подошел к Нему некоторый начальник и, кланяясь Ему, говорил: дочь моя теперь умирает; но приди, возложи на нее руку Твою, и она будет жива.

19 A nd Jesus rose up and followed him, and his disciples.

И встав, Иисус пошел за ним, и ученики Его.

20 A nd behold, a woman, who had had a bloody flux twelve years, came behind and touched the hem of his garment;

И вот, женщина, двенадцать лет страдавшая кровотечением, подойдя сзади, прикоснулась к краю одежды Его,

21 f or she said within herself, If I should only touch his garment I shall be healed.

ибо она говорила сама в себе: если только прикоснусь к одежде Его, выздоровею.

22 B ut Jesus turning and seeing her, said, Be of good courage, daughter; thy faith has healed thee. And the woman was healed from that hour.

Иисус же, обратившись и увидев ее, сказал: дерзай, дщерь! вера твоя спасла тебя. Женщина с того часа стала здорова.

23 A nd when Jesus was come to the house of the ruler, and saw the flute-players and the crowd making a tumult,

И когда пришел Иисус в дом начальника и увидел свирельщиков и народ в смятении,

24 h e said, Withdraw, for the damsel is not dead, but sleeps. And they derided him.

сказал им: выйдите вон, ибо не умерла девица, но спит. И смеялись над Ним.

25 B ut when the crowd had been put out, he went in and took her hand; and the damsel rose up.

Когда же народ был выслан, Он, войдя, взял ее за руку, и девица встала.

26 A nd the fame of it went out into all that land.

И разнесся слух о сем по всей земле той.

27 A nd as Jesus passed on thence, two blind followed him, crying and saying, Have mercy on us, Son of David.

Когда Иисус шел оттуда, за Ним следовали двое слепых и кричали: помилуй нас, Иисус, сын Давидов!

28 A nd when he was come to the house, the blind came to him. And Jesus says to them, Do ye believe that I am able to do this? They say to him, Yea, Lord.

Когда же Он пришел в дом, слепые приступили к Нему. И говорит им Иисус: веруете ли, что Я могу это сделать? Они говорят Ему: ей, Господи!

29 T hen he touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith, be it unto you.

Тогда Он коснулся глаз их и сказал: по вере вашей да будет вам.

30 A nd their eyes were opened; and Jesus charged them sharply, saying, See, let no man know it.

И открылись глаза их; и Иисус строго сказал им: смотрите, чтобы никто не узнал.

31 B ut they, when they were gone out, spread his name abroad in all that land.

А они, выйдя, разгласили о Нем по всей земле той.

32 B ut as these were going out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed by a demon.

Когда же те выходили, то привели к Нему человека немого бесноватого.

33 A nd the demon having been cast out, the dumb spake. And the crowds were astonished, saying, It has never been seen thus in Israel.

И когда бес был изгнан, немой стал говорить. И народ, удивляясь, говорил: никогда не бывало такого явления в Израиле.

34 B ut the Pharisees said, He casts out the demons through the prince of the demons.

А фарисеи говорили: Он изгоняет бесов силою князя бесовского.

35 A nd Jesus went round all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the glad tidings of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every bodily weakness.

И ходил Иисус по всем городам и селениям, уча в синагогах их, проповедуя Евангелие Царствия и исцеляя всякую болезнь и всякую немощь в людях.

36 B ut when he saw the crowds he was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed, and cast away as sheep not having a shepherd.

Видя толпы народа, Он сжалился над ними, что они были изнурены и рассеяны, как овцы, не имеющие пастыря.

37 T hen saith he to his disciples, The harvest great and the workmen few;

Тогда говорит ученикам Своим: жатвы много, а делателей мало;

38 s upplicate therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth workmen unto his harvest.

итак молите Господина жатвы, чтобы выслал делателей на жатву Свою.
