1 G od having spoken in many parts and in many ways formerly to the fathers in the prophets,

Бог, многократно и многообразно говоривший издревле отцам в пророках,

2 a t the end of these days has spoken to us in Son, whom he has established heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

в последние дни сии говорил нам в Сыне, Которого поставил наследником всего, чрез Которого и веки сотворил.

3 w ho being effulgence of his glory and expression of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, having made the purification of sins, set himself down on the right hand of the greatness on high,

Сей, будучи сияние славы и образ ипостаси Его и держа все словом силы Своей, совершив Собою очищение грехов наших, воссел одесную (престола) величия на высоте,

4 t aking a place by so much better than the angels, as he inherits a name more excellent than they.

будучи столько превосходнее Ангелов, сколько славнейшее пред ними наследовал имя.

5 F or to which of the angels said he ever, Thou art my Son: this day have I begotten thee? and again, I will be to him for father, and he shall be to me for son?

Ибо кому когда из Ангелов сказал: Ты Сын Мой, Я ныне родил Тебя? И еще: Я буду Ему Отцем, и Он будет Мне Сыном?

6 a nd again, when he brings in the firstborn into the habitable world, he says, And let all God's angels worship him.

Также, когда вводит Первородного во вселенную, говорит: и да поклонятся Ему все Ангелы Божии.

7 A nd as to the angels he says, Who makes his angels spirits and his ministers a flame of fire;

Об Ангелах сказано: Ты творишь Ангелами Своими духов и служителями Своими пламенеющий огонь.

8 b ut as to the Son, Thy throne, O God, to the age of the age, and a sceptre of uprightness the sceptre of thy kingdom.

А о Сыне: престол Твой, Боже, в век века; жезл царствия Твоего--жезл правоты.

9 T hou hast loved righteousness and hast hated lawlessness; therefore God, thy God, has anointed thee with oil of gladness above thy companions.

Ты возлюбил правду и возненавидел беззаконие, посему помазал Тебя, Боже, Бог Твой елеем радости более соучастников Твоих.

10 A nd, Thou in the beginning, Lord, hast founded the earth, and works of thy hands are the heavens.

И: в начале Ты, Господи, основал землю, и небеса--дело рук Твоих;

11 T hey shall perish, but thou continuest still; and they all shall grow old as a garment,

они погибнут, а Ты пребываешь; и все обветшают, как риза,

12 a nd as a covering shalt thou roll them up, and they shall be changed; but thou art the Same, and thy years shall not fail.

и как одежду свернешь их, и изменятся; но Ты тот же, и лета Твои не кончатся.

13 B ut as to which of the angels said he ever, Sit at my right hand until I put thine enemies footstool of thy feet?

Кому когда из Ангелов сказал: седи одесную Меня, доколе положу врагов Твоих в подножие ног Твоих?

14 A re they not all ministering spirits, sent out for service on account of those who shall inherit salvation?

Не все ли они суть служебные духи, посылаемые на служение для тех, которые имеют наследовать спасение?
