1 Е то Моят служител, когото подкрепявам, Моят избраник, в когото благоволи душата Ми; Турих Духа Си на него; Той ще постави правосъдие за народите.

Behold my servant whom I uphold, mine elect my soul delighteth! I will put my Spirit upon him; he shall bring forth judgment to the nations.

2 Н яма да извика, нито ще издигне високо гласа си, Нито ще го направи да се чуе навън.

He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

3 С мазана тръстика няма да пречупи, И замъждял фитил няма да угаси; Ще постави правосъдие според истината.

A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment according to truth.

4 Н яма да ослабне нито да се съкруши Догдето установи правосъдие на земята; И островите ще очакват неговата поука.

He shall not faint nor be in haste, till he have set justice in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

5 Т ака казва Бог, Господ, Който е направил небето и го е разпрострял, Който е разтлал земята с произведенията й, Който дава дишане на людете, които са на нея, И дух на тия, които ходят по нея:

Thus saith God, Jehovah, he that created the heavens and stretched them out, he that spread forth the earth and its productions, he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

6 А з Господ те призовах в правда, И като хвана ръката ти ще те пазя, И ще те поставя за завет на людете, За светлина на народите,

I, Jehovah, have called thee in righteousness, and will take hold of thy hand; and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the nations,

7 З а да отвориш очите на слепите, Да извадиш запрените от затвор, И седящите в мрак из тъмницата.

to open the blind eyes, to bring forth the prisoner from the prison, them that sit in darkness out of the house of restraint.

8 А з съм Господ; това е Моето име; И не ща да дам славата Си на друг, Нито хвалата Си на изваяните идоли.

I am Jehovah, that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

9 Е то, нещата, предсказани от начало се сбъднаха, И Аз ви известявам нови, Преди да се появят, казвам ви ги.

Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth will I cause you to hear them.

10 П ейте на Господа нова песен, Хвалата Му от краищата на земята, Вие, които слизате на морето и всичко що е в него, Острови, и вие, които живеете на тях.

Sing unto Jehovah a new song, his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the isles and their inhabitants.

11 П устинята и градовете й нека извикат с висок глас, Силата, гдето живее Кидар; Нека пият жителите на Села, Нека възклицават от върховете на планините,

Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit; let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains:

12 Н ека отдадат слава на Господа, И нека възвестят хвалата Му в островите.

let them give glory unto Jehovah, and declare his praise in the islands.

13 Г оспод ще излезе като силен мъж, Ще възбуди ревнивостта Си като ратник, Ще извика, да! ще изреве. Ще надделее над враговете Си;

Jehovah will go forth as a mighty man, he will stir up jealousy like a man of war: he will cry, yea, he will shout; he will shew himself mighty against his enemies.

14 З а дълго време мълчах, казва Той. Останах тих, въздържах Себе Си; Но сега ще извикам като жена, която ражда, Ще погубя и същевременно ще погълна.

Long time have I holden my peace; I have been still, I have restrained myself: I will cry like a woman that travaileth; I will blow and pant at once.

15 Щ е запустя планини и хълмове, И ще изсуша всичката им трева; Ще обърна реките в острови, И ще пресуша езерата.

I will lay waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.

16 Щ е доведа слепите през път, който не са знаели, Ще ги водя в пътеки, които им са били непознати; Ще обърна тъмнината в светлина пред тях, И неравните места ще направя равни. Това ще сторя, и няма да ги оставя.

And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not, in paths that they know not will I lead them; I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

17 Щ е се върнат назад, съвсем ще се посрамят Ония, които уповават на ваяните идоли, Които казват на леяните: Вие сте наши богове.

They shall be turned back, they shall be covered with shame, that confide in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.

18 Ч уите, глухи, И гледайте, слепи, за да видите.

—Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.

19 К ой е сляп, ако не е служителят Ми, Или глух, както посланика, когото изпращам? Кой е сляп както предания Богу, И сляп както служителя Господен?

Who is blind, but my servant? and deaf, as my messenger whom I sent? Who is blind as he in whom I have trusted, and blind as Jehovah's servant,

20 Т и гледаш много неща но не наблюдаваш; Ушите му са отворени, но той не чува.

—seeing many things, and thou observest not? With opened ears, he heareth not.

21 Г оспод благоволи заради правдата Си Да възвеличи учението и да го направи почитаемо.

Jehovah had delight for his righteousness' sake: he hath magnified the law, and made it honourable.

22 Н о те са ограбени и оголени люде; Всички са впримчени в пещери и скрити в тъмници; Плячка са, и няма избавител, Обир са, и никой не казва: Върни го.

But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and hidden in prison-houses; they are become a prey, and none delivereth,—a spoil, and none saith, Restore.

23 К ой от вас ще даде ухо на това? Кой ще внимава и слуша за бъдещето?

Who among you will give ear to this, will hearken and hear what is to come?

24 К ой предаде Якова на обир, И Израиля на грабител? Не Господ ли, на Когото съгрешихме? Защото не искаха да ходят в пътищата Му, Нито послушаха учението Му.

Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? Did not Jehovah, he against whom we have sinned? And they would not walk in his ways, neither did they hearken unto his law.

25 З атова изля на него лютостта на гнева Си И свирепостта на боя; И това го запали изоколо, но той не се сети, Изгори го, но той не го вложи в сърцето си.

And he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he took it not to heart.
