1 Т огава Давид изговори Господу думите на тая песен, в деня, когато Господ го беше избавил от ръката на всичките му неприятели и от ръката на Саула;

¶ And David spoke the words of this song unto the LORD in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies and out of the hand of Saul.

2 и рече: - Господ е скала моя, крепост моя, и Избавител мой;

¶ And he said, The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer.

3 Б ог е канара моя, на Когото се надявам, Щит мой, и рога на избавлението ми; Висока моя кула е, и прибежище ми е, Спасител мой е; Ти ме избавяш от насилие.

God is my Strong One; in him will I trust: he is my shield and the horn of my saving health; my defence and my refuge; my saviour, who shall save me from violence.

4 Щ е призова Господа, Който е достохвален; Така ще бъда избавен от неприятелите си.

I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.

5 З ащото вълните на смъртта ме окръжиха, Порои от беззаконие ме уплашиха;

When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of Belial made me afraid;

6 В ръзките на ада ме обвиха, Примките на смъртта ме стигнаха

when the cords of Sheol compassed me about; the snares of death came before me;

7 В утеснението си призовах Господа, И към Бога мой викнах; И от храма Си Той чу гласа ми, И викането ми стигна в ушите Му.

in my distress I called upon the LORD and cried to my God, who heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry entered into his ears.

8 Т огаз са поклати и потресе земята; Основите на небето се разлюляха И поклатиха се, защото се разгневи Той.

Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of the heavens were moved and shook because he was wroth.

9 Д им се издигаше из ноздрите Му, И огън из устата Му поглъщаше; Въглища се разпалиха от Него.

Smoke went up from his nostrils, and fire devoured out of his mouth; coals were kindled by it.

10 Т ой сведе небето и слезе, И мрак бе под нозете Му.

And he lowered the heavens and came down, and darkness was under his feet.

11 В ъзседна на херувими и летя, И яви се на ветрени крила.

And he rode upon a cherub and flew; and he appeared upon the wings of the wind.

12 П оложи за скиния около Си тъмнината. Събраните води, гъстите въздушни облаци.

He placed darkness like tabernacles round about him, dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

13 О т святкането пред Него Огнени въглища са разпалиха.

From the brightness of his presence, coals of fire were kindled.

14 Г ръмна Господ от небето, Всевишният даде гласа Си;

The LORD thundered from the heavens, and the most High uttered his voice;

15 И прати стрели та ги разпръсна, Светкавици та ги смути.

he sent out arrows and scattered them; he sent forth lightning, and consumed them.

16 Т огава се явиха морските дълбочини, Откриха са основите на света От изобличението на Господа, От духането на духа на ноздрите Му.

Then the springs of the sea appeared and the foundations of the world were uncovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

17 П рати от височината, взе ме, Извлече ме из големи води;

He extended his hand from above, he took me; he drew me out of the impetuous waters;

18 И збави ме от силния ми неприятел, От ония, които ме мразеха, Защото бяха по-силни от мене.

he delivered me from strong enemies, from those that hated me, who were stronger than I.

19 С тигнаха ме в деня на бедствието ми; Но Господ ми стана подпорка.

They came upon me unawares in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my stay.

20 И извади ме на широко, Избави ме, защото има благоволение към мене.

He brought me forth into a large place; he delivered me, because he had put his will in me.

21 В ъздаде ми Господ според правдата ми; Според чистотата на ръцете ми възнагради ме.

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has recompensed me.

22 З ащото съм опазил пътищата Господни, И не съм се отклонил от Бога мой в нечестие.

For I have kept the ways of the LORD and have not wickedly departed from my God.

23 З ащото всичките Му съдби са били пред мене; И от повеленията Му не съм се отдалечил.

For I have all his ordinances before me and am attentive to his statutes; I will not depart from them.

24 Н епорочен бях пред Него, И опазих се от беззаконието си.

And I was perfect before him and have kept myself from my iniquity.

25 З атова ми въздаде Господ според правдата ми, Според чистотата ми пред очите Му.

Therefore, the LORD has recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to my cleanness before his eyes.

26 К ъм милостивия, Господи, милостив ще се явиш, Към непорочния, непорочен ще се явиш,

With the merciful thou art good, and with the perfect thou art upright.

27 К ъм чистия, чист ще се явиш, А към развратния противен ще се явиш,

With the pure thou art pure, and with the perverse thou art an adversary.

28 О скърбени люде ти ще спасиш; А над горделивите с очите Ти за да ги смириш.

Thou wilt save the poor in spirit; but thine eyes are upon the haughty that thou may bring them down.

29 З ащото Ти, Господи, си светилник мой; И Господ ще озари тъмнината ми.

For thou art my lamp, O LORD, and the LORD gives light unto my darkness.

30 З ащото чрез Тебе разбивам полк; Чрез Бога мой прескачам стена.

For in thee I have run through a troop; with my God I have gone over the walls.

31 К олкото за Бога, Неговият път е съвършен; Словото на Господа е опитано; Той е щит на всички, които уповават на Него.

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is purified; he is a shield to all those that trust in him.

32 З ащото кой е бог освен Господа? И кой е канара освен нашият Бог?

For what God is there except the LORD? Or who is a Strong One, except our God?

33 Б ог е силната моя крепост, И прави съвършен пътя ми;

God is he who strengthens me with virtue; he who clears my way;

34 П рави нозете ми като нозете на елените. И поставя ме на високите ми места;

he who makes my feet like hinds’ feet, and he who sets me upon my high places;

35 У чи ръцете ми да воюват, Така щото мишците ми запъват меден лък.

he who trains my hands for war and causes my arms to break the bow of bronze.

36 Т и си ми дал и щита на избавлението Си; И Твоята благост ме е направила велик.

Thou hast also given me the shield of thy saving health, and thy meekness has multiplied me.

37 Т и си разширил стъпките ми под мене; И нозете ми не се подхлъзнаха.

Thou hast enlarged my steps under me so that my knees did not shake.

38 Г оних неприятелите си и ги изтребих, И не се върнах докато не ги довърших.

I have pursued my enemies and destroyed them and did not return until I had consumed them.

39 Д овърших ги, стрих ги, та не можаха да се подигнат, А паднаха под нозете ми.

And I consumed them and wounded them, and they did not arise; they are fallen under my feet.

40 З ащото си ме препасал със сила за бой; Повалил си под мене въставащите против мене.

For thou hast girded me with strength for the battle; thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.

41 С торил си на обърнат гръб към мене неприятелите ми, За да изтребя ония, които ме мразят.

Thou hast given me the necks of my enemies, of those that hate me, that I might cut them off.

42 П огледнаха, но нямаше избавител, - Към Господа, но не ги послуша,

They looked, but there was no one to save them; even unto the LORD, but he did not answer them.

43 Т огава ти стрих като земния прах, Сгазих ги, както калта на пътищата, и стъпках ги;

Then I beat them as small as the dust of the earth; I stamped them as the mire of the street and spread them abroad.

44 Т и си ме избавил и от съпротивленията на людете ми, Поставил си ме глава на народите; Люде, които не познавах, слугуват ми.

Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of peoples; thou hast kept me to be head of the Gentiles; peoples whom I did not know have served me.

45 Ч ужденците ми се покориха; Щом чуха за мене, те ме и послушаха.

The strangers trembled before my command; as soon as they heard, they obeyed me.

46 Ч ужденците ослабнаха, И разтреперани излязоха из местата, гдето са се затворили.

The strangers withered away and trembled in their close places.

47 Ж ив е Господ, И благословена да бъде Канарата ми; И да се възвиси Бог, моята спасителна скала,

The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God who is the rock of my salvation.

48 Б ог, Който отмъщава за мене, И покорява племена под мене,

The God who has given me revenge and who subjects the peoples under me,

49 И Който ме извежда изсред неприятелите ми; Да! възвишаваш ме над въставащите против мене; Избавяш ме от насилника.

who brings me forth from among my enemies; thou hast lifted me up on high from among those that rose up against me; thou hast delivered me from the man of violence.

50 З атова, ще Те хваля, Господи, между народите, И на името Ти ще пея.

Therefore, I will confess thee among the Gentiles, O LORD, and I will sing unto thy name.

51 Т и си, Който даваш велико избавление на царя Си, И показваш милосърдие към помазаника Си. Към Давида и към потомството му да века.

He who makes great the saving health of his king and shows mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for ever.
