1 Г осподи, Ти си мой Бог; Ще Те превъзнасям, ще пея хваления на името Ти; Защото си извършил чудни дела, Отдавнашните Си намерения, с вярност и истинност.

¶ O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee; I will praise thy name for thou hast done wonders, the counsels of old, the truth unchanging.

2 З ащото Ти обърна град в грамада, Укрепен град на развалина. Палатът на чужденците да не е град; Той никога няма да се съгради.

That thou hast turned the city into a heap; the defenced city into a ruin: the palace of strangers to not be a city; it shall never be rebuilt.

3 З атова силните люде ще Те славят, Градът на страшните народи ще се бои от Тебе.

Therefore the strong people shall glorify thee; the city of the strong Gentiles shall fear thee.

4 З ащото си бил крепост на сиромаха, Крепост на бедния в утеснението му, Прибежище от буря, сянка от пек, Когато устремът на насилниците нападне като буря върху стена.

For thou hast been strength to the poor, strength to the needy in his distress, refuge from the storm, shadow from the heat, for the force of the violent is as a storm against the wall.

5 Щ е намалиш шума на чужденците Както пека в сухо място; Както пека чрез сянката на облак, Възклицанието на страшните ще ослабне.

As the heat in a dry place, thou shalt bring down the pride of the strangers; even as with heat that burns beneath a cloud, thou shalt cause the offshoot of the stout ones to wither.

6 И на тоя хълм Господ на Силите ще направи на всичките племена Угощение от тлъсти неща, угощение от вина дълго стояли на дрождията си, От тлъсти неща пълни с мозък, От вина, дълго стояли на дрождията си, пречистени.

¶ And in this mountain the LORD of the hosts shall make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of purified wines, of fat things full of marrow, of purified liquids.

7 И на тоя хълм Той ще развали Вънкашното покривало, което е мятано върху всичките племена, И покривката, която е простряна върху всичките народи.

And he will undo in this mountain the mask of the covering with which all the peoples are covered and the veil that is extended over all the Gentiles.

8 Щ е погълне смъртта за винаги; И Господ Бог ще обърше сълзите от всичките лица, И ще отнеме укора на людете Си от цялата земя; Защото Господ е изговорил това,

He will destroy death forever; and the Lord GOD shall wipe away every tear from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people he shall take away from off all the earth: for the LORD has determined it.

9 И в оня ден ще рекат: Ето, Тоя е наш Бог; Чакахме Го, и Той ще ни спаси; Тоя е Господ; чакахме Го; Ще се зарадваме и развеселим в спасението Му.

¶ And it shall be said in that day, Behold, this is our God, whom we have waited for, and he has saved us: this is the LORD, whom we have waited for, we will be glad and rejoice in his saving health.

10 З ащото в тоя хълм Господната ръка ще почине; И Моав ще бъде потъпкан на мястото си, Както се тъпче плявата в бунището.

For in this mountain the hand of the LORD shall rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.

11 Г оспод ще разпростре ръцете Си всред него, Както плаващият простира ръце да плава, И ще повали гордостта му Въпреки лукавщината на ръцете му.

And he shall extend his hand in the midst of him as he that swims spreads forth his hand to swim: and he shall bring down his pride with the members of his hands

12 Щ е сниши и крепостта ти, силна с високи стени, Ще я събори и хвърли на земята, дори в пръстта.

and lay siege to the fortress of thy high walls; he shall humble it and bring it down to the ground, even to the dust.
