1 Г орко на Ариил, Ариил, Града гдето Давид се засели! Притурете година на година, Празниците нека се изреждат в кръга си,

¶ Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! add ye one year to another; the lambs shall cease.

2 Т огава Аз ще притесня Ариил, И ще има в него тъга и скръб, И той ще Ми бъде наистина като огнище Божие.

Yet I will distress Ariel, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow: and it shall be unto me as Ariel.

3 И ще поставя стан околовръст против тебе, Ще те обсадя с могили. И ще издигна кули против тебе.

And I will camp against thee round about and will lay siege against thee with a mount, and I will raise forts against thee.

4 И ти ще бъдеш повален, ще говориш из земята; Говоренето ти ще бъде ниско из пръстта. И гласът ти из земята ще бъде като на запитвач на зли духове, И говоренето ти ще бъде шепот из пръстта.

And thou shalt be brought down and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be as that of a spiritist, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.

5 А множеството на неприятелите ти ще бъде като ситен прах, И множеството на насилниците ти като дребна плява, която се отвява: Да! това ще стане внезапно в един миг.

Moreover the multitude of thy enemies that shall come from afar shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the strong ones shall be as chaff that passes away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.

6 Щ е има посещение от Господа на Силите С гръм, с трус и с голям шум, С буря и вихрушка и с поглъщащ огнен пламък.

Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of the hosts with thunders, with earthquakes, and with great noise, with whirlwind and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

7 И множеството на всичките народи, Които воюват против Ариил, Да! всички, които воюват против него и против крепостите му, И ония, които го притесняват, Ще бъде като сън, като нощно видение.

And the multitude of all the Gentiles that shall fight against Ariel, even all that shall fight against her and their siege weapons, and those that shall distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.

8 И както гладният сънува ясно, че яде, Но, като се събуди, душата му е празна, Или както жадният сънува ясно, че пие, Но като се събуди, ето той е примрял, и душата му има охота, Така ще бъдат множествата на всичките народи, Които воюват против сионския хълм.

It shall even be as he who dreams that he is hungry, and in his dream, he eats; but when he awakes, his soul is empty; and as he who dreams that he is thirsty, and, in his dream, he drinks; but he awakes, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul is still thirsty: so shall the multitude of all the Gentiles be, that shall fight against Mount Zion.

9 С тойте смаяни и почудете се, Заслепете себе си и ослепейте; Те са пияни, но не от вино, Политат, но не от спиртно питие.

¶ Become ye dumb, and make others dumb; become ye blind, and blind others: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

10 З ащото Господ изля на вас дух на дълбок сън, И затвори очите ви: пророците, И помрачи първенците ви: гледачите.

For the LORD has extended upon you the spirit of deep sleep and has closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, he has covered the seers with sleep.

11 И всяко пророческо видение стана за вас Като думите на запечатано писмо, Което дават на някого, който е грамотен, И казват: А прочети това; А той казва: Не мога, защото е запечатано;

And every vision is unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which if it were delivered to one that knows how to read, saying, Read this, I pray thee: he shall say, I cannot; for it is sealed:

12 Т огава дават писмото на някого, който не е грамотен. И казват: Я прочети това; А той казва: Не съм грамотен.

And if the book were delivered to him that does not know how to read, saying, Read this, I pray thee: he shall say, I do not know how to read.

13 З атова Господ казва: Понеже тия люде се проближават при Мене с устата си, И Ме почитат с устните си, Но са отстранили сърцето си далеч от Мене, И благоволението им към Мене По човешки поучения изучени папагалски,

Therefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people sacrifice unto me and honour me with their lips, but have removed their heart far from me, and their worship with which they honour me was taught by the commandment of men:

14 З атова, ето, ще пристъпя да направя чудно дело между тия люде, Да! чудно и странно дело; И мъдростта на мъдрите им ще изчезне, И разумът на разумните ще се скрие.

Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvellous work among this people with a fearful miracle: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the prudence of their prudent men shall fade away.

15 Г орко на ония, които дълбоко търсят Да скрият намеренията си от Господа, - Чиито дела са в тъмнината, И които казват: Кой ни види? кой ни знае?

Woe unto those that hide themselves from the LORD, covering the counsel; and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who sees us? and who knows us?

16 А х! тая ваша опърничавост! Грънчарят ще се счете ли като кал? Направеното ще рече ли на този, който го е направил: Той не ме е направил? Или изработеното ще рече ли за този, който го е изработил: Той няма разум?

Surely your subversion shall be as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He did not make me? or shall the vessel say of him that made it, He did not understand?

17 Н е ли след твърде малко време още Ливан ще се превърне в плодородно поле, И плодородното поле ще се счита като лес?

¶ Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into Carmel a fruitful field, and shall not Carmel be esteemed as a forest?

18 И в оня ден глухите ще чуят думи като се четат из книга, И очите на слепите ще прогледат из мрака и тъмнината.

And in that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see in the midst of darkness, and of gross darkness.

19 К ротките тоже ще умножат радостта си в Господа И сиромасите между човеците ще се развеселят в Светия Израилев.

Then the humble shall grow in joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

20 З ащото страшният изчезна, присмивачът се изгуби, И всички, които дебнеха случай да вършат беззаконие, се изтребиха, -

For the violent one shall be done away with, and the scorner shall be consumed, and all those that rose early unto iniquity shall be cut off:

21 К оито изкарват човека виновен в съдебното дело, И поставят примка за онзи, който изобличава в портата, И с лъжа изкарват крив праведния.

Those that made men to sin in word; those that laid a snare for him that reproved in the gate, and turned that which is just into vanity.

22 З атова Господ, Който е изкупил Аврама, така казва за Якововия дом; Яков няма вече да се посрами, Нито лицето му вече ще пребледнее;

Therefore thus saith the LORD, who ransomed Abraham, unto the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale;

23 Н о когато той - ще каже, чадата му - видят делото на ръцете Ми всред себе си, Те ще остветят името Ми; Да! ще осветят Светия Яковов, И ще се боят от Бога Израилев.

for he shall see his children, the work of my hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and shall sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel;

24 С ъщо и ония, които са заблудили духом, ще се вразумят, И които са роптали, ще приемат поука,

and those that erred in spirit shall learn understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.
