1 T he fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity. There is no one who does good.

El necio ha dicho en su corazón: No hay Dios. Se han corrompido, han cometido injusticias abominables; no hay quien haga el bien.

2 G od looks down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there are any who understood, who seek after God.

Dios ha mirado desde los cielos sobre los hijos de los hombres para ver si hay alguno que entienda, alguno que busque a Dios.

3 E very one of them has gone back. They have become filthy together. There is no one who does good, no, not one.

Todos se han desviado, a una se han corrompido; no hay quien haga el bien, no hay ni siquiera uno.

4 H ave the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on God?

¿No tienen conocimiento los que hacen iniquidad, que devoran a mi pueblo como si comieran pan, y no invocan a Dios?

5 T here they were in great fear, where no fear was, for God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you. You have put them to shame, because God has rejected them.

Donde antes no había terror, allí tiemblan de espanto, porque Dios esparció los huesos del que acampaba contra ti; tú los avergonzaste, porque Dios los había rechazado.

6 O h that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back his people from captivity, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

¡Oh, si de Sion saliera la salvación de Israel! Cuando Dios restaure a su pueblo cautivo, se regocijará Jacob y se alegrará Israel.
