1 “ Come, everyone who thirsts, to the waters! Come, he who has no money, buy, and eat! Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Todos los sedientos, venid a las aguas; y los que no tenéis dinero, venid, comprad y comed. Venid, comprad vino y leche sin dinero y sin costo alguno.

2 W hy do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which doesn’t satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in richness.

¿Por qué gastáis dinero en lo que no es pan, y vuestro salario en lo que no sacia? Escuchadme atentamente, y comed lo que es bueno, y se deleitará vuestra alma en la abundancia.

3 T urn your ear, and come to me. Hear, and your soul will live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Inclinad vuestro oído y venid a mí, escuchad y vivirá vuestra alma; y haré con vosotros un pacto eterno, conforme a las fieles misericordias mostradas a David.

4 B ehold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples.

He aquí, lo he puesto por testigo a los pueblos, por guía y jefe de las naciones.

5 B ehold, you shall call a nation that you don’t know; and a nation that didn’t know you shall run to you, because of Yahweh your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you.”

He aquí, llamarás a una nación que no conocías, y una nación que no te conocía, correrá a ti a causa del Señor tu Dios, el Santo de Israel; porque El te ha glorificado.

6 S eek Yahweh while he may be found. Call on him while he is near.

Buscad al Señor mientras puede ser hallado, llamadle en tanto que está cerca.

7 L et the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Abandone el impío su camino, y el hombre inicuo sus pensamientos, y vuélvase al Señor, que tendrá de él compasión, al Dios nuestro, que será amplio en perdonar.

8 “ For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh.

Porque mis pensamientos no son vuestros pensamientos, ni vuestros caminos mis caminos —declara el Señor.

9 “ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Porque como los cielos son más altos que la tierra, así mis caminos son más altos que vuestros caminos, y mis pensamientos más que vuestros pensamientos.

10 F or as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater;

Porque como descienden de los cielos la lluvia y la nieve, y no vuelven allá sino que riegan la tierra, haciéndola producir y germinar, dando semilla al sembrador y pan al que come,

11 s o is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.

así será mi palabra que sale de mi boca, no volverá a mí vacía sin haber realizado lo que deseo, y logrado el propósito para el cual la envié.

12 F or you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills will break out before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields will clap their hands.

Porque con alegría saldréis, y con paz seréis conducidos; los montes y las colinas prorrumpirán en gritos de júbilo delante de vosotros, y todos los árboles del campo batirán palmas.

13 I nstead of the thorn the cypress tree will come up; and instead of the brier the myrtle tree will come up: and it will make a name for Yahweh, for an everlasting sign that will not be cut off.”

En lugar del espino crecerá el ciprés, y en lugar de la ortiga crecerá el mirto; y esto será para gloria del Señor, para señal eterna que nunca será borrada.
