1 I t is good to give thanks to the Lord And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;

Bueno es dar gracias al Señor, y cantar alabanzas a tu nombre, oh Altísimo;

2 T o declare Your lovingkindness in the morning And Your faithfulness by night,

anunciar por la mañana tu bondad, y tu fidelidad por las noches,

3 W ith the ten-stringed lute and with the harp, With resounding music upon the lyre.

con el decacordio y con el arpa, con la música sonora de la lira.

4 F or You, O Lord, have made me glad by what You have done, I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands.

Porque tú, oh Señor, me has alegrado con tus obras, cantaré con gozo ante las obras de tus manos.

5 H ow great are Your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep.

¡Qué grandes son tus obras, oh Señor, cuán profundos tus pensamientos!

6 A senseless man has no knowledge, Nor does a stupid man understand this:

El hombre torpe no tiene conocimiento, y el necio no entiende esto:

7 T hat when the wicked sprouted up like grass And all who did iniquity flourished, It was only that they might be destroyed forevermore.

que cuando los impíos brotaron como la hierba, y florecieron todos los que hacían iniquidad, sólo fue para ser destruidos para siempre.

8 B ut You, O Lord, are on high forever.

Mas tú, oh Señor, excelso eres eternamente.

9 F or, behold, Your enemies, O Lord, For, behold, Your enemies will perish; All who do iniquity will be scattered.

Porque he aquí, tus enemigos, Señor, porque he aquí, tus enemigos perecerán; serán esparcidos todos los que hacen iniquidad.

10 B ut You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.

Pero tú has exaltado mi poder como el del búfalo; he sido ungido con aceite fresco.

11 A nd my eye has looked exultantly upon my foes, My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me.

Mis ojos satisfechos han mirado a los que me acechaban, y oyen mis oídos de los malhechores que se levantan contra mí.

12 T he righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

El justo florecerá como la palma, crecerá como cedro en el Líbano.

13 P lanted in the house of the Lord, They will flourish in the courts of our God.

Plantados en la casa del Señor, florecerán en los atrios de nuestro Dios.

14 T hey will still yield fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and very green,

Aun en la vejez darán fruto; estarán vigorosos y muy verdes,

15 T o declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

para anunciar cuán recto es el Señor, mi roca, y que no hay injusticia en El.
