1 В первый же день недели, очень рано, неся приготовленные ароматы, пришли они ко гробу, и вместе с ними некоторые другие;

But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they and some others came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.

2 н о нашли камень отваленным от гроба.

They found the stone rolled away from the tomb.

3 И , войдя, не нашли тела Господа Иисуса.

They entered in, and didn’t find the Lord Jesus’ body.

4 К огда же недоумевали они о сем, вдруг предстали перед ними два мужа в одеждах блистающих.

While they were greatly perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling clothing.

5 И когда они были в страхе и наклонили лица к земле, сказали им: что вы ищете живого между мертвыми?

Becoming terrified, they bowed their faces down to the earth. They said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?

6 Е го нет здесь: Он воскрес; вспомните, как Он говорил вам, когда был еще в Галилее,

He isn’t here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee,

7 с казывая, что Сыну Человеческому надлежит быть предану в руки человеков грешников, и быть распяту, и в третий день воскреснуть.

saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again?”

8 И вспомнили они слова Его;

They remembered his words,

9 и , возвратившись от гроба, возвестили всё это одиннадцати и всем прочим.

returned from the tomb, and told all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest.

10 Т о были Магдалина Мария, и Иоанна, и Мария, Иакова, и другие с ними, которые сказали о сем Апостолам.

Now they were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James. The other women with them told these things to the apostles.

11 И показались им слова их пустыми, и не поверили им.

These words seemed to them to be nonsense, and they didn’t believe them.

12 Н о Петр, встав, побежал ко гробу и, наклонившись, увидел только пелены лежащие, и пошел назад, дивясь сам в себе происшедшему.

But Peter got up and ran to the tomb. Stooping and looking in, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he departed to his home, wondering what had happened.

13 В тот же день двое из них шли в селение, отстоящее стадий на шестьдесят от Иерусалима, называемое Эммаус;

Behold, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was sixty stadia from Jerusalem.

14 и разговаривали между собою о всех сих событиях.

They talked with each other about all of these things which had happened.

15 И когда они разговаривали и рассуждали между собою, и Сам Иисус, приблизившись, пошел с ними.

While they talked and questioned together, Jesus himself came near, and went with them.

16 Н о глаза их были удержаны, так что они не узнали Его.

But their eyes were kept from recognizing him.

17 О н же сказал им: о чем это вы, идя, рассуждаете между собою, и отчего вы печальны?

He said to them, “What are you talking about as you walk, and are sad?”

18 О дин из них, именем Клеопа, сказал Ему в ответ: неужели Ты один из пришедших в Иерусалим не знаешь о происшедшем в нем в эти дни?

One of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only stranger in Jerusalem who doesn’t know the things which have happened there in these days?”

19 И сказал им: о чем? Они сказали Ему: что было с Иисусом Назарянином, Который был пророк, сильный в деле и слове пред Богом и всем народом;

He said to them, “What things?” They said to him, “The things concerning Jesus, the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;

20 к ак предали Его первосвященники и начальники наши для осуждения на смерть и распяли Его.

and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him.

21 А мы надеялись было, что Он есть Тот, Который должен избавить Израиля; но со всем тем, уже третий день ныне, как это произошло.

But we were hoping that it was he who would redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened.

22 Н о и некоторые женщины из наших изумили нас: они были рано у гроба

Also, certain women of our company amazed us, having arrived early at the tomb;

23 и не нашли тела Его и, придя, сказывали, что они видели и явление Ангелов, которые говорят, что Он жив.

and when they didn’t find his body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.

24 И пошли некоторые из наших ко гробу и нашли так, как и женщины говорили, но Его не видели.

Some of us went to the tomb, and found it just like the women had said, but they didn’t see him.”

25 Т огда Он сказал им: о, несмысленные и медлительные сердцем, чтобы веровать всему, что предсказывали пророки!

He said to them, “Foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

26 Н е так ли надлежало пострадать Христу и войти в славу Свою?

Didn’t the Christ have to suffer these things and to enter into his glory?”

27 И , начав от Моисея, из всех пророков изъяснял им сказанное о Нем во всем Писании.

Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

28 И приблизились они к тому селению, в которое шли; и Он показывал им вид, что хочет идти далее.

They came near to the village, where they were going, and he acted like he would go further.

29 Н о они удерживали Его, говоря: останься с нами, потому что день уже склонился к вечеру. И Он вошел и остался с ними.

They urged him, saying, “Stay with us, for it is almost evening, and the day is almost over.” He went in to stay with them.

30 И когда Он возлежал с ними, то, взяв хлеб, благословил, преломил и подал им.

When he had sat down at the table with them, he took the bread and gave thanks. Breaking it, he gave to them.

31 Т огда открылись у них глаза, и они узнали Его. Но Он стал невидим для них.

Their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he vanished out of their sight.

32 И они сказали друг другу: не горело ли в нас сердце наше, когда Он говорил нам на дороге и когда изъяснял нам Писание?

They said to one another, “Weren’t our hearts burning within us, while he spoke to us along the way, and while he opened the Scriptures to us?”

33 И , встав в тот же час, возвратились в Иерусалим и нашли вместе одиннадцать и бывших с ними,

They rose up that very hour, returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and those who were with them,

34 к оторые говорили, что Господь истинно воскрес и явился Симону.

saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!”

35 И они рассказывали о происшедшем на пути, и как Он был узнан ими в преломлении хлеба.

They related the things that happened along the way, and how he was recognized by them in the breaking of the bread.

36 К огда они говорили о сем, Сам Иисус стал посреди них и сказал им: мир вам.

As they said these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, “Peace be to you.”

37 О ни, смутившись и испугавшись, подумали, что видят духа.

But they were terrified and filled with fear, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.

38 Н о Он сказал им: что смущаетесь, и для чего такие мысли входят в сердца ваши?

He said to them, “Why are you troubled? Why do doubts arise in your hearts?

39 П осмотрите на руки Мои и на ноги Мои; это Я Сам; осяжите Меня и рассмотрите; ибо дух плоти и костей не имеет, как видите у Меня.

See my hands and my feet, that it is truly me. Touch me and see, for a spirit doesn’t have flesh and bones, as you see that I have.”

40 И , сказав это, показал им руки и ноги.

When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.

41 К огда же они от радости еще не верили и дивились, Он сказал им: есть ли у вас здесь какая пища?

While they still didn’t believe for joy, and wondered, he said to them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”

42 О ни подали Ему часть печеной рыбы и сотового меда.

They gave him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb.

43 И , взяв, ел пред ними.

He took them, and ate in front of them.

44 И сказал им: вот то, о чем Я вам говорил, еще быв с вами, что надлежит исполниться всему, написанному о Мне в законе Моисеевом и в пророках и псалмах.

He said to them, “This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled.”

45 Т огда отверз им ум к уразумению Писаний.

Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures.

46 И сказал им: так написано, и так надлежало пострадать Христу, и воскреснуть из мертвых в третий день,

He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,

47 и проповедану быть во имя Его покаянию и прощению грехов во всех народах, начиная с Иерусалима.

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

48 В ы же свидетели сему.

You are witnesses of these things.

49 И Я пошлю обетование Отца Моего на вас; вы же оставайтесь в городе Иерусалиме, доколе не облечетесь силою свыше.

Behold, I send out the promise of my Father on you. But wait in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.”

50 И вывел их вон до Вифании и, подняв руки Свои, благословил их.

He led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.

51 И , когда благословлял их, стал отдаляться от них и возноситься на небо.

While he blessed them, he withdrew from them, and was carried up into heaven.

52 О ни поклонились Ему и возвратились в Иерусалим с великою радостью.

They worshiped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,

53 И пребывали всегда в храме, прославляя и благословляя Бога. Аминь.

and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
