1 E ntonces habló el Señor a Moisés, diciendo:

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

2 M anda a los hijos de Israel que te traigan aceite puro de olivas machacadas para el alumbrado, para hacer arder la lámpara continuamente.

“Command the children of Israel that they bring to you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to make the lamps burn continually.

3 F uera del velo del testimonio, en la tienda de reunión, Aarón las dispondrá para que ardan desde el anochecer hasta la mañana delante del Señor continuamente; será estatuto perpetuo para todas vuestras generaciones.

Outside the veil of the Testimony, in the tabernacle of meeting, Aaron shall be in charge of it from evening until morning before the Lord continually; it shall be a statute forever in your generations.

4 M antendrá las lámparas en orden en el candelabro de oro puro, continuamente delante del Señor.

He shall be in charge of the lamps on the pure gold lampstand before the Lord continually. The Bread of the Tabernacle

5 T omarás flor de harina y con ella cocerás doce tortas; en cada torta habrá dos décimas de efa.

“And you shall take fine flour and bake twelve cakes with it. Two-tenths of an ephah shall be in each cake.

6 Y las colocarás en dos hileras, seis en cada hilera, sobre la mesa de oro puro delante del Señor.

You shall set them in two rows, six in a row, on the pure gold table before the Lord.

7 Y en cada hilera pondrás incienso puro, para que sea porción memorial del pan, una ofrenda encendida para el Señor.

And you shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

8 C ada día de reposo, continuamente, se pondrá en orden delante del Señor; es un pacto eterno para los hijos de Israel.

Every Sabbath he shall set it in order before the Lord continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.

9 Y será para Aarón y para sus hijos, y lo comerán en un lugar santo; porque lo tendrá como cosa muy sagrada de las ofrendas encendidas para el Señor, por derecho perpetuo. Castigo del blasfemo

And it shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy to him from the offerings of the Lord made by fire, by a perpetual statute.” The Penalty for Blasphemy

10 E l hijo de una mujer israelita, cuyo padre era egipcio, salió entre los hijos de Israel; y el hijo de la israelita y un hombre de Israel lucharon en el campamento.

Now the son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and this Israelite woman’s son and a man of Israel fought each other in the camp.

11 Y el hijo de la israelita blasfemó el Nombre, y maldijo. Entonces lo llevaron a Moisés. (El nombre de su madre era Selomit, hija de Dibri, de la tribu de Dan.)

And the Israelite woman’s son blasphemed the name of the Lord and cursed; and so they brought him to Moses. (His mother’s name was Shelomith the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.)

12 Y lo pusieron en la cárcel, hasta que se les aclarara la palabra del Señor.

Then they put him in custody, that the mind of the Lord might be shown to them.

13 E ntonces habló el Señor a Moisés, diciendo:

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

14 S aca fuera del campamento al que maldijo, y que todos los que lo oyeron pongan las manos sobre su cabeza, y que toda la congregación lo apedree.

“Take outside the camp him who has cursed; then let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

15 Y hablarás a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: “Si alguien maldice a su Dios, llevará su pecado.

“Then you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.

16 “ Además, el que blasfeme el nombre del Señor, ciertamente ha de morir; toda la congregación ciertamente lo apedreará. Tanto el forastero como el nativo, cuando blasfeme el Nombre, ha de morir.

And whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly stone him, the stranger as well as him who is born in the land. When he blasphemes the name of the Lord, he shall be put to death.

17 “ Si un hombre quita la vida a cualquier ser humano, ciertamente ha de morir.

‘Whoever kills any man shall surely be put to death.

18 “ Y el que quite la vida a un animal lo restituirá, vida por vida.

Whoever kills an animal shall make it good, animal for animal.

19 “ Si un hombre hiere a su prójimo, según hizo, así se le hará:

‘If a man causes disfigurement of his neighbor, as he has done, so shall it be done to him—

20 f ractura por fractura, ojo por ojo, diente por diente; según la lesión que haya hecho a otro, así se le hará.

fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has caused disfigurement of a man, so shall it be done to him.

21 “ El que mate un animal, lo restituirá, pero el que mate a un hombre, ha de morir.

And whoever kills an animal shall restore it; but whoever kills a man shall be put to death.

22 “ Habrá una misma ley para vosotros; será tanto para el forastero como para el nativo; porque yo soy el Señor vuestro Dios.”

You shall have the same law for the stranger and for one from your own country; for I am the Lord your God.’”

23 M oisés entonces habló a los hijos de Israel, y ellos sacaron fuera del campamento al que había maldecido, y lo apedrearon. Los hijos de Israel hicieron tal como el Señor había mandado a Moisés.

Then Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they took outside the camp him who had cursed, and stoned him with stones. So the children of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses.
