1 Y subiendo Jesús en una barca, pasó al otro lado y llegó a su ciudad.

So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own city.

2 Y le trajeron un paralítico echado en una camilla; y Jesús, viendo la fe de ellos, dijo al paralítico: Anímate, hijo, tus pecados te son perdonados.

Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”

3 Y algunos de los escribas decían para sí: Este blasfema.

And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!”

4 Y Jesús, conociendo sus pensamientos, dijo: ¿Por qué pensáis mal en vuestros corazones?

But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?

5 P orque, ¿qué es más fácil, decir: “Tus pecados te son perdonados”, o decir: “Levántate, y anda ”?

For which is easier, to say, ‘ Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’?

6 P ues para que sepáis que el Hijo del Hombre tiene autoridad en la tierra para perdonar pecados (entonces dijo al paralítico ): Levántate, toma tu camilla y vete a tu casa.

But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins” —then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

7 Y él levantándose, se fue a su casa.

And he arose and departed to his house.

8 P ero cuando las multitudes vieron esto, sintieron temor, y glorificaron a Dios, que había dado tal poder a los hombres. Llamamiento de Mateo y la cena en su casa

Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men. Matthew the Tax Collector

9 C uando Jesús se fue de allí, vio a un hombre llamado Mateo, sentado en la oficina de los tributos, y le dijo: ¡Sígueme! Y levantándose, le siguió.

As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.

10 Y sucedió que estando El sentado a la mesa en la casa, he aquí, muchos recaudadores de impuestos y pecadores llegaron y se sentaron a la mesa con Jesús y sus discípulos.

Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples.

11 Y cuando vieron esto, los fariseos dijeron a sus discípulos: ¿Por qué come vuestro Maestro con los recaudadores de impuestos y pecadores ?

And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

12 A l oír El esto, dijo: Los que están sanos no tienen necesidad de médico, sino los que están enfermos.

When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.

13 M as id, y aprended lo que significa: “ Misericordia quiero y no sacrificio ”; porque no he venido a llamar a justos, sino a pecadores. Pregunta sobre el ayuno

But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Jesus Is Questioned About Fasting

14 E ntonces se le acercaron los discípulos de Juan, diciendo: ¿Por qué nosotros y los fariseos ayunamos, pero tus discípulos no ayunan?

Then the disciples of John came to Him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but Your disciples do not fast?”

15 Y Jesús les dijo: ¿Acaso los acompañantes del novio pueden estar de luto mientras el novio está con ellos? Pero vendrán días cuando el novio les será quitado, y entonces ayunarán.

And Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.

16 Y nadie pone un remiendo de tela nueva en un vestido viejo; porque el remiendo al encogerse tira del vestido y se produce una rotura peor.

No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse.

17 Y nadie echa vino nuevo en odres viejos, porque entonces los odres se revientan, el vino se derrama y los odres se pierden; sino que se echa vino nuevo en odres nuevos, y ambos se conservan. Curación de una mujer y resurrección de la hija de un oficial

Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.” A Girl Restored to Life and a Woman Healed

18 M ientras les decía estas cosas, he aquí, vino un oficial de la sinagoga y se postró delante de El, diciendo: Mi hija acaba de morir; pero ven y pon tu mano sobre ella, y vivirá.

While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.”

19 Y levantándose Jesús, lo siguió, y también sus discípulos.

So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His disciples.

20 Y he aquí, una mujer que había estado sufriendo de flujo de sangre por doce años, se le acercó por detrás y tocó el borde de su manto;

And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment.

21 p ues decía para sí: Si tan sólo toco su manto, sanaré.

For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.”

22 P ero Jesús, volviéndose y viéndola, dijo: Hija, ten ánimo, tu fe te ha sanado. Y al instante la mujer quedó sana.

But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.

23 C uando entró Jesús en la casa del oficial, y vio a los flautistas y al gentío en ruidoso desorden,

When Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing,

24 l es dijo: Retiraos, porque la niña no ha muerto, sino que está dormida. Y se burlaban de El.

He said to them, “Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him.

25 P ero cuando habían echado fuera a la gente, El entró y la tomó de la mano; y la niña se levantó.

But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.

26 Y esta noticia se difundió por toda aquella tierra. Curación de dos ciegos y un mudo

And the report of this went out into all that land. Two Blind Men Healed

27 A l irse Jesús de allí, dos ciegos le siguieron, gritando y diciendo: ¡Hijo de David, ten misericordia de nosotros!

When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!”

28 Y después de haber entrado en la casa, se acercaron a El los ciegos, y Jesús les dijo: ¿Creéis que puedo hacer esto? Ellos le respondieron: Sí, Señor.

And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”

29 E ntonces les tocó los ojos, diciendo: Hágase en vosotros según vuestra fe.

Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”

30 Y se les abrieron los ojos. Y Jesús les advirtió rigurosamente, diciendo: Mirad que nadie lo sepa.

And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.”

31 P ero ellos, en cuanto salieron, divulgaron su fama por toda aquella tierra.

But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country. A Mute Man Speaks

32 Y al salir ellos de allí, he aquí, le trajeron un mudo endemoniado.

As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed.

33 Y después que el demonio había sido expulsado, el mudo habló; y las multitudes se maravillaban, y decían: Jamás se ha visto cosa igual en Israel.

And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, “It was never seen like this in Israel!”

34 P ero los fariseos decían: El echa fuera los demonios por el príncipe de los demonios. Ministerio de Jesús

But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.” The Compassion of Jesus

35 Y Jesús recorría todas las ciudades y aldeas, enseñando en las sinagogas de ellos, proclamando el evangelio del reino y sanando toda enfermedad y toda dolencia.

Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

36 Y viendo las multitudes, tuvo compasión de ellas, porque estaban angustiadas y abatidas como ovejas que no tienen pastor.

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.

37 E ntonces dijo a sus discípulos: La mies es mucha, pero los obreros pocos.

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.

38 P or tanto, rogad al Señor de la mies que envíe obreros a su mies.

Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
