1 P ermanezca el amor fraternal.

2 N o os olvidéis de mostrar hospitalidad, porque por ella algunos, sin saberlo, hospedaron ángeles.

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.

3 A cordaos de los presos, como si estuvierais presos con ellos, y de los maltratados, puesto que también vosotros estáis en el cuerpo.

Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.

4 S ea el matrimonio honroso en todos, y el lecho matrimonial sin mancilla, porque a los inmorales y a los adúlteros los juzgará Dios.

Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

5 S ea vuestro carácter sin avaricia, contentos con lo que tenéis, porque El mismo ha dicho: Nunca te dejare ni te desamparare,

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

6 d e manera que decimos confiadamente: El Señor es el que me ayuda; no temere. ¿ Que podra hacerme el hombre ?

So we may boldly say: “The L ord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Concluding Religious Directions

7 A cordaos de vuestros guías que os hablaron la palabra de Dios, y considerando el resultado de su conducta, imitad su fe.

Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct.

8 J esucristo es el mismo ayer y hoy y por los siglos.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

9 N o os dejéis llevar por doctrinas diversas y extrañas, porque buena cosa es para el corazón el ser fortalecido con la gracia, no con alimentos, de los que no recibieron beneficio los que de ellos se ocupaban.

Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.

10 N osotros tenemos un altar del cual no tienen derecho a comer los que sirven al tabernáculo.

We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.

11 P orque los cuerpos de aquellos animales, cuya sangre es llevada al santuario por el sumo sacerdote como ofrenda por el pecado, son quemados fuera del campamento.

For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp.

12 P or lo cual también Jesús, para santificar al pueblo mediante su propia sangre, padeció fuera de la puerta.

Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

13 A sí pues, salgamos a El fuera del campamento, llevando su oprobio.

Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.

14 P orque no tenemos aquí una ciudad permanente, sino que buscamos la que está por venir.

For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.

15 P or tanto, ofrezcamos continuamente mediante El, sacrificio de alabanza a Dios, es decir, el fruto de labios que confiesan su nombre.

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

16 Y no os olvidéis de hacer el bien y de la ayuda mutua, porque de tales sacrificios se agrada Dios.

But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

17 O bedeced a vuestros pastores y sujetaos a ellos, porque ellos velan por vuestras almas, como quienes han de dar cuenta. Permitidles que lo hagan con alegría y no quejándose, porque eso no sería provechoso para vosotros. Bendición y saludos finales

Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. Prayer Requested

18 O rad por nosotros, pues confiamos en que tenemos una buena conciencia, deseando conducirnos honradamente en todo.

Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably.

19 Y aún más, os exhorto a hacer esto, a fin de que yo os sea restituido muy pronto.

But I especially urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner. Benediction, Final Exhortation, Farewell

20 Y el Dios de paz, que resucitó de entre los muertos a Jesús nuestro Señor, el gran Pastor de las ovejas mediante la sangre del pacto eterno,

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

21 o s haga aptos en toda obra buena para hacer su voluntad, obrando El en nosotros lo que es agradable delante de El mediante Jesucristo, a quien sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

22 O s ruego, hermanos, que soportéis la palabra de exhortación, pues os he escrito brevemente.

And I appeal to you, brethren, bear with the word of exhortation, for I have written to you in few words.

23 S abed que nuestro hermano Timoteo ha sido puesto en libertad, con el cual, si viene pronto, os he de ver.

Know that our brother Timothy has been set free, with whom I shall see you if he comes shortly.

24 S aludad a todos vuestros pastores y a todos los santos. Los de Italia os saludan.

Greet all those who rule over you, and all the saints. Those from Italy greet you.

25 L a gracia sea con todos vosotros. Amén.
