1 A nd the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 C ommand the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.
“Command the children of Israel that they bring to you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to make the lamps burn continually.
3 W ithout the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the Lord continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.
Outside the veil of the Testimony, in the tabernacle of meeting, Aaron shall be in charge of it from evening until morning before the Lord continually; it shall be a statute forever in your generations.
4 H e shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the Lord continually.
He shall be in charge of the lamps on the pure gold lampstand before the Lord continually. The Bread of the Tabernacle
5 A nd thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake.
“And you shall take fine flour and bake twelve cakes with it. Two-tenths of an ephah shall be in each cake.
6 A nd thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the Lord.
You shall set them in two rows, six in a row, on the pure gold table before the Lord.
7 A nd thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

8 E very sabbath he shall set it in order before the Lord continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.

10 A nd the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;
Now the son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and this Israelite woman’s son and a man of Israel fought each other in the camp.
11 A nd the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of the Lord, and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)
And the Israelite woman’s son blasphemed the name of the Lord and cursed; and so they brought him to Moses. (His mother’s name was Shelomith the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.)
12 A nd they put him in ward, that the mind of the Lord might be shewed them.
Then they put him in custody, that the mind of the Lord might be shown to them.
13 A nd the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
14 B ring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
“Take outside the camp him who has cursed; then let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
15 A nd thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.
“Then you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.
16 A nd he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.
And whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly stone him, the stranger as well as him who is born in the land. When he blasphemes the name of the Lord, he shall be put to death.
17 A nd he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.
‘Whoever kills any man shall surely be put to death.
18 A nd he that killeth a beast shall make it good; beast for beast.
Whoever kills an animal shall make it good, animal for animal.
19 A nd if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;
‘If a man causes disfigurement of his neighbor, as he has done, so shall it be done to him—
20 B reach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.

21 A nd he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
And whoever kills an animal shall restore it; but whoever kills a man shall be put to death.
22 Y e shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the Lord your God.
You shall have the same law for the stranger and for one from your own country; for I am the Lord your God.’”
23 A nd Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses.
Then Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they took outside the camp him who had cursed, and stoned him with stones. So the children of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses.
