Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts,

19 B ut when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak;

20 F or it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

24 T he disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.

25 I t is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household!

26 F ear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. Christ Brings Division

35 F or I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’;

36 A nd a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’

37 H e that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.

41 H e that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

42 A nd whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”
