1 O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

Jehová, no me reprendas en tu furor ni me castigues en tu ira.

2 F or thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.

Tus saetas cayeron sobre mí, y sobre mí ha descendido tu mano.

3 T here is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.

Nada hay sano en mi carne a causa de tu ira; ni hay paz en mis huesos a causa de mi pecado,

4 F or mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

porque mis maldades se acumulan sobre mi cabeza; como carga pesada me abruman.

5 M y wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.

Hieden y supuran mis llagas a causa de mi locura.

6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.

Estoy encorvado, humillado en gran manera, ando enlutado todo el día,

7 F or my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.

porque mis lomos están llenos de ardor; nada hay sano en mi carne.

8 I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.

Estoy debilitado y molido en gran manera; ¡gimo a causa de la conmoción de mi corazón!

9 L ord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.

Señor, delante de ti están todos mis deseos y mi suspiro no te es oculto.

10 M y heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.

Mi corazón está acongojado, me ha dejado mi vigor, y aun la luz de mis ojos me falta ya.

11 M y lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off.

Mis amigos y mis compañeros se mantienen lejos de mi plaga, y mis cercanos se han alejado.

12 T hey also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.

Los que buscan mi vida arman lazos, y los que procuran mi mal me amenazan y traman engaños todo el día.

13 B ut I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.

Pero yo, como si fuera sordo, no oigo, y soy como un mudo que no abre la boca.

14 T hus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.

Soy, pues, como un hombre que no oye y en cuya boca no hay reprensiones.

15 F or in thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.

Porque en ti, Jehová, he esperado, tú responderás, Jehová, Dios mío.

16 F or I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.

Dije: «No se alegren de mí; cuando mi pie resbale, no se engrandezcan sobre mí.»

17 F or I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.

¡Pero yo estoy a punto de caer y mi dolor está delante de mí continuamente!

18 F or I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

Por tanto, confesaré mi maldad y me entristeceré por mi pecado.

19 B ut mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

Mis enemigos están vivos y fuertes, y se han aumentado los que me aborrecen sin causa.

20 T hey also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.

Los que pagan mal por bien me son contrarios, por seguir yo lo bueno.

21 F orsake me not, O Lord: O my God, be not far from me.

No me desampares, Jehová; Dios mío, no te alejes de mí.

22 M ake haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.

¡Apresúrate a ayudarme, Señor, salvación mía!
